Master Meow - Chapter 71
Chapter 71: Take Care of It
Since Wells had already felt better, he was now very eager to see the little pet who might already be sleeping at this point in time. He was really curious about what she thinks of the small house and bed.
He specially ordered a custom-made bed, which was modeled according to the little pet’s figure, on the internet. He also carefully selected the beddings and blankets, choosing only the soft and comfortable ones.
I hope the little pet liked it.
Lu Qiu had already fallen asleep a long time ago.
Wells jumped in through the window, approached the tiny house in silence, and sat down.
Regardless, both the tiny house and the bed were too small for Wells to move in. Yet, he was very interested in this kind of small box-like house. If it were not for his fear of crushing his pet, he would certainly drill himself inside and bore a few circles to fit in.
He watched the little pet lying on the small bed with the blanket she cleverly covered herself with, showing only a portion of her sleeping face. Truly, the more he saw it, the more it looked cute.
Although there was no expression shown on his face, if you put your ear next to his chest, you would hear growling sounds, which was too intense, coming from the bottom of his throat.
Didn’t know how long he watched her like this, but he soon changed his sitting posture and continued to watch the little pet attentively. He had long forgotten that he was now peeping at the sleeping pet like a pervert.
On the other hand, Lu Qiu was unable to sleep well without the giant cat around that night. She had been sleeping drowsily, plagued by nightmares, one after another, until she was finally awakened by these nightmares early in the morning.
Because she went to bed too early yesterday, by the time she woke up, the sun hadn’t risen up yet.
And right after waking up, she unconsciously reached out her hand to the place beside her, thinking that she would feel the giant cat’s fur, yet she only touched the blanket.
She stared blankly for two seconds, then she got up from the bed.
The little bed was very comfortable, but she still had a bad night’s sleep.
She left the room silently and walked outside the door, only to find the room in extreme silence with the familiar metal ball twirling around the giant cat’s nest.
The giant cat was sleeping in its nest. His head was leaning back on the edge of the cat’s nest, his mouth slightly opened, and his limbs spread out in all directions; his posture was as wild as it could ever be. Fortunately, a doll and his fur had covered his key parts, otherwise, this picture is simply impossible for one to see.
Lu Qiu looked at the cat’s fully exposed belly. If it was yesterday, she could definitely touch it, but today, she could only look at it from a distance.
She sighed and was about to leave when she suddenly noticed that there seemed to be a bloodstain on his hind leg near her.
Is the giant cat injured?
Wells didn’t bother to treat his wounds after he came back yesterday. The wound didn’t need to be plastered with medicine as it would heal after a few days. So, he didn’t feel like he needed to take care of it.
Lu Qiu came closer. Sure enough, he was really hurt. It seemed that his hind leg was bitten by some animal, leaving two large bloody holes. Because the fur on his hind leg was white, the red color was particularly conspicuous.
He went out for another fight again. At this moment, Lu Qiu feels like she’s an owner who always sees her pet outside the house, fighting and getting hurt. She felt the need to educate him because she was extremely worried. However, she was not in a position to control him to not run around outside.
She didn’t know where the medicine box was stored in the house. She couldn’t even leave the room without the help of the giant cat.
She opened the wardrobe with a frown. After having new clothes, the old clothes and suits she snipped before were all stuffed deep inside the cabinet.
She took out the suit and cut it into long strips using the scissors.
The cat’s nest was a little high, and the cat’s legs were even higher. Lu Qiu gently climbed into the nest, stood below his leg, and stroked the fur on his injured thigh, like a massage, which was very comfortable.
The giant cat made a half sound but didn’t wake up. He only changed his position and placed his leg down.
Lu Qiu half knelt on the ground, wrapped the cloth around the giant cat’s injured hind leg, and tied it into a beautiful bow.
Despite all these movements, the giant cat still didn’t wake up, so she quietly climbed out of the cat’s nest and went into the kitchen to wash her face and gargle her mouth.
She hadn’t brushed her teeth for so many days, so she was pretty worried about her dental health status. Can a human’s decayed tooth be treated here?
She never seemed to have seen the giant cat brush his teeth.
She climbed beside the kitchen counter, and after spending quite some time on opening the cupboard, she took some fruits and vegetables that she could hold out of the food cabinet. Just like that, she quickly settled her breakfast matter.
Now that she was being hated, she was very conscious about living under the same roof and was trying her best not to add any trouble inside the giant cat’s home.
She just hoped that they wouldn’t drive her away and let her fend for herself in the wilderness.
With this in mind, she looked back at the giant cat, then returned to the tiny house with the suit, scissors, and thread in her arms— looking rather forlorn.
