Master Meow - Chapter 53
Chapter 53: Wells’ Closet
Wells’ shut-down mode quickly came to an end right after Lu Qiu took the initiative to hug his leg.
Although the little pet might have felt angry, it didn’t take ten minutes before she took the initiative to come and hug him— She’s unlikely to give him a cold shoulder.
And this point made Wells remarkably happy.
After all this trouble, Lu Qiu was no longer in the mood to continue strolling. All she wanted to do was to quickly find a needle and thread to make clothes for herself.
Moreover, there was another big problem that made her head ache.
What should she do without paper? How could she forget that animals hardly use this stuff? Could it be that there were no papers in this world?!
Lu Qiu grimly leaned on the giant cat’s embrace as she touched the clothes on her body. The material was soft and comfortable, multiple times better than paper.
No, no, no, clothes won’t do. It should be her last resort.
The nearby forest had a lot of trees, so picking up some leaves should work. In ancient times, people didn’t only use leaves to solve their problems. Back then, they also used bamboo and eaves tiles.
She turned her body, buried her face in the cat’s fluffy bosom; Lu Qiu was in deep distress.
Wells perplexedly patted Lu Qiu’s head, why is the little pet still unhappy?
The little pet’s mind is extremely difficult to guess.
He frowned and quietly opened the pet behavior guide that he hadn’t finished reading just now.
However, the various examples listed above didn’t have any similarities with the case he had at home, and he couldn’t find any reference at all. So, he closed the pet behavior guide and switched to ‘100 ways to raise the pet you don’t know with love’.
Both whatsoever wasn’t f*cking useful at all!
Pop! He switched off his device.
Wells held the little pet to stand up, and with the tip of his nose, he tenderly rubbed against her forehead. She doesn’t smell sick; she’s very healthy.
Just now, she went to the toilet after eating dinner. So, it shouldn’t be her diet, nor a defecation problem.
This problem… he doesn’t really understand. Wells swung his tail irritably.
At that time, Lu Qiu was thinking about another problem.
Paper wasn’t really important at the moment as she had to fix the clothes first. Since the giant cat could throw a quilt for her, then he should have more quilts at home. It’s just not on this floor.
Lu Qiu raised her hands, touched the giant cat’s head, and made him look at her direction. Then, she pointed her finger to the clothes on her body.
“Clothes.”
Wells softly meowed, she wants clothes? The pink lace dress he ordered for her was still under delivery and would only arrive tomorrow.
“Do you have any other clothes?” Lu Qiu asked.
Wells didn’t understand, but he noticed that the little pet was really interested in clothes. Then, he thought about the clothes in his big closet— they should make her happy. So, he immediately carried her downstairs.
The way he went downstairs was very unusual. First, he jumped out of the window, flew outside for a while, and then jumped in through a window again.
Since there were no stairs in the entire building, you could only fly or climb up the wall.
Flying indeed makes you invincible!
She was making complaints about it, but soon, Lu Qiu was brought right away to an extremely large closet, which was over four meters high and eight meters long.
Wells arrogantly pulled the closet to open, and a whole row of huge, neatly placed clothes appeared in front of him.
Lu Qiu blinked her eyes repeatedly as she finally managed to respond. What kind of bed sheet was this thing on her body? It was actually clothes, and they were all the giant cat’s clothes.
She didn’t expect that the animals here would also wear clothes. Moreover, there were still more in such a big closet. Lu Qiu was stunned by this realization, and couldn’t help stretching her hand, wanting to touch them.
Wells moved forward a little, allowing her to sit on his paws and touch his clothes one by one.
Almost all the clothes here had the exact same design; they wrapped around the upper part of the body and four legs. They were very conventional and very old-fashioned.
Aside from that, the clothes were mostly in black, dark gray, and ink blue. There were only two white clothes mixed among the dark colors, making it eye-catching.
She could feel the texture of the clothes, and all of them were very soft, yet at the same time, they were also tough and durable. This texture wasn’t usually used for making a suit. However, this material’s quality would not affect your movements and would not make the user feel constrained. Perhaps, because of this reason, this material was chosen.
The four walls of the room were practically walk-in closets, except for the window.
Lu Qiu curiously looked at the other two closets, so Wells stepped forward to open the both of them. Among these, one of them contained a lot of dolls of all sizes, including soft stuffed animals and very realistic dolls, which was almost life-like.
And the other one had startled Lu Qiu because it was filled with rat dolls, snakes, and all kinds of strange insects, including cockroaches, beetles, caterpillars, and fist-sized insects that Lu Qiu saw on the trees when she first arrived in this world.
Two cat dolls were placed at the edge of the cabinet, but they were different from the giant cat’s breed. One resembled an orange cat, and the other resembled a leopard.
Recalling the two cat dolls that were thrown by the giant cat, Lu Qiu couldn’t help looking back at Wells.
Wells grunted in a low voice, his face darkened, and he abruptly closed the cabinet door.
These things should have been thrown away long ago. He didn’t like the damned rat and bug dolls at all.
Seeing that the giant cat wasn’t very happy, Lu Qiu didn’t stay in front of the cabinet. She didn’t worry about these clothes, but what would she do without needles, thread, and scissors?
