Chapter 31: Black Boar, Not Lovely! (2) 

As soon as she woke up, Wells moved with her. With his paws, he lifted her to his mouth, licking her. This way, Wells washed her face and shampooed her under the glittering morning sun. 

Lu Qiu: “…” 

Although it was a happy thing to be licked by a cat, if he licked her hair like this every day, she was afraid that she would be licked bald. The place that he pulled out before was still bald. 

When he licked her head, Wells saw a bald patch on her head. He remembered that the hair growth agent should have arrived now, so he quickly let go of his pet, jumped through the window, and flew down. 

There was a room in the stone castle that was especially used to store all kinds of online shopping products. Usually, when the express delivery arrived, it was directly stored there. 

The entire Animal Kingdom was located within the Milky Way Galaxy. It wasn’t too big, with no more than ten habitable stars. 

Giant Rock Star was the largest one, but it was the farthest and most remote from the capital star.
 

With the rapid development of science and technology in the Animal Kingdom, there were all kinds of personal terminals, virtual equipment, and satellite mechatronics. Interstellar voyages had become a common occurrence. So, the express service had also developed. It could deliver goods within an hour or two at the fastest. If there was no cargo on this planet, the cross-planet delivery would take one day of waiting till the goods arrived. 

After glancing in the room that served as a warehouse, finally, Wells immediately saw the small box he was looking for. 

Lu Qiu was trying to climb out of the cat’s nest when he came back into the room while carrying a small box. 

But the cat’s nest was too high for her. Especially the edge of the nest which was specially raised. Its height was almost higher than the giant cat. The ground was also a thick and rough stone ground. Since she had no shoes on her feet, it was estimated that once she jumped like this, she would crack her legs. 

Lu Qiu thought for a long time while holding the soft material beside the cat’s nest with her hands and hanging herself in the air like Tarzan. 

There was no soft cushion under her feet. She could feel that her strength was leaving out of her hands soon. She was afraid of the pain she would feel once she fell down. Therefore, Lu Qiu tried to climb back to the nest. Her knuckles were white, and her face was completely red, forming a sharp contrast. 

As soon as Wells saw this, he immediately went forward, bent his head and bit Lu Qiu gently on the back of her neck. His teeth touched the skin, but he didn’t hurt her at all. He took her back to her nest.
 

He was a bit worried and also anxious. 

The little pet wanted to escape again, but she was so stupid that she couldn’t escape even when he gave the chance. It was really unsettling. 

In case she was caught by someone else, she was so stupid and weak. She wouldn’t be able to run even if she wanted to. 

He didn’t know how he could think of such a long-term thing. After Lu Qiu thanked him, he looked at the box he threw when he took her. 

The box was safely secured and no cracks could be seen on the surface. It looked like a large cylindrical barrel, nearly one meter and five high, very heavy, and it seemed to be filled with liquid. 

Wells saw that Lu Qiu was curious when he clawed the top of the box. 

“Open.” 

Then the box opened automatically. It was a huge barrel filled with hair growth agents. 

In fact, the hair-growing agent could be sprayed directly or diluted in the bath. 

Wells looked at the barrel and then at Lu Qiu, back and forth a few times, considering whether to soak the person directly or just use it on her head. 

He couldn’t imagine the small pet being covered with black hair. 

He had observed enough these two days. The hair of the little pet seemed to have mutated as well. It was different from most of the monkeys. It was not the short, soft, and thick type. It was black, long, and smooth like the hair on the head. 

Although it wasn’t similar, Wells couldn’t help but think of the black boar instead of his own black leopard Ruth when he imagined that his pet would become hairy. 

Black boar… Not lovely at all!! 

Ah, forget it! Hairless is good enough. 

Lu Qiu, who wasn’t aware that she had avoided a calamity, watched Wells open the barrel, which was filled with strange liquid. The giant cat pushed her aside, dipped some liquid at the tip of its claw, and quickly dropped it to her bald spot. 

Lu Qiu felt that the place where he smeared went extremely cold. She wanted to reach out and touch the sticking-like piece of ice, but her arms were held down by Wells. 

Apparently, a drop of liquid on his paw was already too much for the little bald spot on Lu Qiu’s head. Wells gently applied the hair growth agent with his paw as she slid away. It felt itchy. 

This liquid could stimulate hair growth, which basically made the normal growth rate three times faster. 

It was super effective that a drop of liquid without dilution was already enough. 

Wells took back his paw and closed the lid of the barrel. But, before he took the growth agent away, he curiously extended his paw and rubbed Lu Qiu’s arm with the remaining liquid on it. 

Lu Qiu: “???” 

When she rubbed her arm, she found that the liquid was already dry. There was only a strange smell left, but it didn’t take long for the smell to completely dissipate. 

Lu Qiu believed that the liquid he had given her wasn’t a poison to kill her. Her worries had completely vanished a moment ago. After all, even worrying was useless. Her life and death were pinned in the palms of others. 

Time flew and it’s almost breakfast time now. Wells took Lu Qiu to the indoor waterfall first where he helped her to wash her face last night. 

Wells once again helped Lu Qiu on washing her face. After staring attentively at Lu Qiu, he found that Lu Qiu wasn’t dry yet. So, he licked the water in her hands and face. 

On the other hand, Ruth was in the middle of faithfully preparing their breakfast. 

The breakfast was the same as yesterday’s food. A fresh fish that was still jumping. It was a lump of smelly and lean meat that couldn’t be eaten at all, plus a piece of fruit for her. 

Lu Qiu could hardly swallow the food in her mouth. She missed fried chicken, roasted crayfish, crab meat, spicy hot pot, milk tea, etc. 

Alas! Life in the animal world is difficult.
