Master Meow - Chapter 27 - Extreme Attraction
Chapter 27: Extreme Attraction
The kitchen lights went out instantly.
Lu Qiu’s eyes weren’t able to adapt yet when suddenly the bright room turned back into darkness. Lu Qiu could not see anything for a moment so she could only tightly grasp onto the giant cat’s fur with both her hands.
Wells felt that the grasp from his little pet had tightened. At this time, Wells remembered that monkeys had poor night vision. He had never thought about it before, that in addition to her being a monkey, his pet was also a degraded one. Her vision might be worse than a normal monkey.
Because of that, soon the whole room had suddenly brightened up. Rows of wall lamps that hung on both sides had lit up one by one.
Lu Qiu wondered if the lamps were the giant cat’s doing. She looked up, only to find that the giant cat had his gaze fixed straight ahead like it wasn’t his doing.
After walking for some time, they finally arrived in front of a huge litter box which was about the size of a cat litter. There was also a three-meter-high robot beside the litter box. Not sure whether he was there to clean up the litter box or not.
They departed from the litter box and moved towards a separate room on the front left. This room was like a warehouse. It was messy, with all kinds of electronic products kept in it.
Wells didn’t seem to like the room very much. He just stood by the door, looked away, and left.
Quite the opposite with Lu Qiu who wanted to take a closer look at what those things were. She apparently saw something like a real VR glasses helmet. Furthermore, there were various realistic ship models thrown randomly on the ground.
It was a pity that the time was way too short to see clearly.
After turning around the house, Wells jumped onto the windowsill together with his little pet.
There was no guardrail outside the windowsill. Moreover, it was 70 meters high from the place where he stood. The wind whizzed violently and it could blow down the people by the window.
Even though she wasn’t afraid of heights, standing in this place, Lu Qiu was stupefied and her legs became soft.
She was shaking like a leaf. With all her body and mind, she tried to hold Wells to death, determined to not let go of him.
This height is extremely terrible. I don’t want to experience this at all!
Being so tightly hugged by Lu Qiu had made Wells bewildered for a moment. But soon, that bewilderment turned into a pleasant smile.
Then, Lu Qiu noticed that the giant cat holding her not only didn’t retreat but also took a step forward.
One foot in the air, four paws off the ground. The two began to fall in an instant!
It’s okay, the giant cat can fly. Lu Qiu comforted herself so much that she wouldn’t die even if he jumped down.
Yet this time, the giant cat didn’t fly and just fell straight to the ground.
The sense of weightlessness from the rapid fall made Lu Qiu dizzy. Her heartbeat accelerated. Her hair flew upwards against gravity and the giant cat’s fur was also blown wildly.
Her hands and head were full of sweat. She wanted to scream.
In fact, it was exasperating and awful of Wells. It was not until when she was about to be smashed into a meat patty that Wells managed his speed to slow down and landed smoothly.
Lu Qiu opened her eyes slowly and saw that there was a huge slide that extended from the top of the building. It was over 70 meters high and was located at the side of the old castle.
Of course, it was the kind of slide that children especially liked to play.
Lu Qiu: “…”
Can fly? Great! Can you do whatever you want if you can fly?!
