Master Meow - Chapter 28 - Like The Lion King
Chapter 28 Like the Lion King
Liu Qiu kept her face indifferent by the time the giant cat finished landing on the ground after jumping from the highest floor.
When he wanted to slide down with her for the second time, Lu Qiu struggled fiercely, so hard as if her life depended on it.
Whoever wants to sit on such a slide again is a dog!
Fortunately, Lu Qiu’s struggle came to be effective. Wells looked at her with regret and once again looked outside. He withdrew his feet which were already on the window, ready to jump.
This is one of the few pleasures he had found in the past few years, and he just wanted to share it with his new pet. Let her experience such a fun game and at the same time, show her his powerful strength.
Unfortunately, the little pet didn’t seem to like it very much.
It was a pity indeed.
Wells felt a bit lonely.
Yet, he brightened up in no time and didn’t want to play with the slide anymore.
As if to show off more to his new buddy, he changed his direction and went to the room across the kitchen where the litter box was located. In the room, there was a more complex and taller climbing platform than the previous room.
The heap of rocks was distributed into many layers. Each of them was designed to be like a maze, and the obstacles were quite tricky.
Comparing the holes and passages, she noticed that those holes unexpectedly were only a little bigger than Wells’ body. It fits his body and nothing more. So if he wanted to pass through the holes, he needed to lower his body and turn himself into a ‘liquid’.
Well, all cats were ‘liquid’ creatures. Lu Qiu agrees on that.
Wells had already lost count of how many times he came here to play. He didn’t fear the maze’s obstacles. He held Lu Qiu in his arms and went through the maze. In just ten minutes, they quickly finished every checkpoint in each layer and climbed up to the top floor.
The top floor was connected to the ceiling which had a big hole that led them to the outside.
Wells clawed open the top cover and jumped at the top of the castle with his pet.
Currently, the two of them were standing on the sloping roof of the castle, without any fence around.
Wells leisurely walked around the whole slope, seeing the panoramic view from all directions.
The place was so high that Lu Qiu felt like she could reach out to the moon. However, it was as if she didn’t have acrophobia at all. She no longer felt scared about the height even after being provoked twice in a row tonight.
Wells didn’t feel satisfied enough by just walking in a circle. So, he jumped up and stood directly on the spire of the castle roof which was only two meters square.
He gathered his four paws closely together and hung his tail high in the air. He did all of that because there was no more space left. He had completely occupied the four corners of the spire. Had there been an emergency situation, he had no place to hide nor to move. He could only step into thin air.
Lu Qiu could hear the creaking and breaking sound from the slender column when she was standing on the spire. And just when she was starting to be afraid after thinking too much, Wells became even more playful and devilish with his teasing.
Wells… He held and raised Lu Qiu using both his front paws, just like Simba in the movie ‘The Lion King’.
Lu Qiu: “?? AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!”
No one could understand Lu Qiu’s mood and feelings at that time. She screamed out loud in surprise.
The sound startled several birds over the surrounding forest.
Wells blinked in confusion. Was the pet happy or scared? Anyway, he was very happy that the little pet was so energetic.
How strong and unyielding the little pet was, ought to be determined by how powerful and loud the roar truly was.
So, he held people up like this and made her follow after him, to roar with their mouth wide open.
Anyone who had ever raised a cat knows how loud the cat could scream.
Not to mention Lu Qiu who was not that far away from him.
Although she managed to cover up her ears the moment she first heard the voice, it didn’t really help her to stop the voice penetrating through her head.
The moment the voice fell, there were a lot of birds flying in the sky. The forests, grasslands, and the whole surrounding area suddenly became alert. Countless animals looked up to the castle.
That stance rather made a great number of animals become aware of the reign of the animalroyalty.
Wells looked at his subjects and held his head high.
He wanted to let the little pet see how powerful he was. All animals in this territory should follow his instructions. He was the king here.
However, Lu Qiu was busily relinquishing her ears, which were still buzzing with noises, making her unable to hear anything.
Her vision had gone black. She pulled out her ears hard for fear that she might turn deaf from the shock.
Human’s eyesight was limited. She didn’t see the large number of animals coming out of the night. She could only see the flying birds and she thought that it was normal, so she didn’t pay any attention to it.
After standing for a while, Wells finally showed off enough and placed Lu Qiu on his back. He then jumped directly from the top of the tower back into the room.
Ruth also heard what had happened just now. But he only peeped out of the window to take a look because he didn’t want to disturb the Lord’s doing.
Anyway, Wells was always going there from time to time.
Eventually, Wells came back to the house. After having one’s feet firmly planted on the ground, Lu Qiu’s hands and feet had gone soft.
Wells put her into the big cat’s nest. Lu Qiu held the edge of the cat’s nest with both hands to stand up properly for a while.
Indeed, this world is extremely terrible.
No, more like that giant cat is the terrible one!
Thinking about the height of the room where she was at now, she didn’t know why both her legs couldn’t help but tremble once again. She felt like the whole world was shaking and she might fall down at any time. That was why she was holding the edge of the cat’s nest for a long time, she didn’t dare to let go.
While Lu Qiu felt terrible, the same couldn’t be said for Wells. It was reasonable to say that night was usually the most spiritual time for cats. Despite the touring and jumping around the castle, this time, Wells wasn’t feeling sleepy, not in the least.
However, monkeys were different from cats. Therefore, he had to follow his little pet’s schedule to keep her happy and healthy.
