Chapter 31: Mixed up (2) 

He frowned, forget it, Gu Yizhou is with her so there shouldn’t be any problems. 

So he said nothing. 

Hanging up the phone, Gu Yuanyuan looked at the time,”Erbao,It’s a little late but haven’t you eaten yet? 

Gu Yizhou also nodded and found that Gu Yuanyuan did not take the shock incident seriously just now. He was somewhat at ease but a little upset. 

The hospital has a canteen with specialized medical staff, that was only open to hospital staff. During working hours, Gu Yizhou usually went to the canteen. 

However, the canteen is only had old Japanese cuisine. Gu Yizhou didn’t mention the canteen and decided to go to the restaurant near the hospital with Gu Yuanyuan. 

Gu Yizhou took off his white coat and put on a light coffee-colored coat. His back was extremely slim. Many people saw him and Gu Yuanyuan walking side by side.
 

“Isn’t that Dr. Gu? He’s actually walking so close to a girl in casual clothes.” 

“Last time I heard the head nurse say that Dr. Gu seemed to have something wrong going on. Is this true?” 

“No. Our idol said that he was only interested in medical treatment and not others. Even the dean’s daughter was refused when she tried to pursue him. ” 

“Don’t guess, maybe it’s only a patient’s family. Wasn’t that the case last time?” 

“WTF! WTF! Holding hands!” 

So everyone watched their ice prince idol suddenly reach out to hold the girl next to him as they both entered the elevator. 

“…It may not be Doctor Gu.”
 

“You don’t think that I haven’t thought of it yet. Wasn’t elevator No. 2 broken and had someone trapped in it? It seemed that the girl who was trapped at that time… Dr. Gu rescued himself.” 

“It must be fake!” 

Most girls had a heartbreaking voice. Doctor Gu is their idol. Although  he is beyond their reach and they wouldn’t have any chance. 

In a similar fashion, they didn’t want any others to have an opportunity either. Such a high mountain flower can only be looked at every day.  However, when it is picked by another, it hurts to think about it.

Gu Yuanyuan’s hearing was quite good. These subtle comments were heard by her, and she glanced quietly at the nearby Gu Yizhou. She could guarantee that Gu Yizhou must have heard it. 

It’s a good thing my son is so popular which made the mother  proud. 

After entering the elevator, Gu Yizhou peeked at his mother’s face which showed no hint of timidness. He bowed his head and asked, “Aren’t you afraid?” 

The majority of people will have some kind of psychological shadow because of a traumatic experience such as the elevator. For example, they dare not go to the seaside after a dangerous situation at the seaside. Not long ago, Gu Yuanyuan was shocked by the elevator, but then took the elevator. 

He actually wanted to take Gu Yuanyuan down the stairs, but Gu Yuanyuan insisted on taking the elevator . 

“Don’t worry, I’m the kind of person who isn’t afraid to try again after being scared once.” Gu Yuanyuan felt that she was somehow a person who had passed through many unfortunate events and  experienced many dangers. It was just an elevator failure. How could this scare her? 

Gu Yizhou said nothing more, but kept his eyes on her and never moved away. 

Knowing that Gu Yuanyuan was trapped in the elevator, his calm and thoughtful thinking appeared blank for the first time. When he learned that Gu Yuanyuan was his mother, he was just shocked. He subconsciously thought about the reason, whether it was true or not. 

He couldn’t help thinking that when trapped in the elevator…A malfunction occurs and drops the elevator straight to the ground, the impact force is equivalent to falling from a high-rise building which can lead to death or serious injuries. 

He treated many patients who had accidents due to elevator failure. Even if he managed to keep them from dying, he could not guarantee their future health. 

He could not imagine that Gu Yuanyuan would have an accident directly after meeting each other. 

Fortunately…… 

Gu Yizhou lowered his eyes to hide the turbulent emotions in his eyes. 

After leaving the hospital, the mother and son were looking for a restaurant nearby and walking on the sidewalk. Gu Yuanyuan subconsciously let Gu Yizhou walk inside, she walked on the side of the street. 

Gu Yizhou remained silent for a few seconds. When he was a child, he didn’t understand such details. He didn’t understand why until he grew up. 

“Mom, I’m an adult now.” He pulled Gu Yuanyuan to the inside, “Don’t treat me like a kid anymore.” 

“With our height and age now, you are a child.” He made a rare joke. 

Gu Yuanyuan glanced at him resentfully, at this remark she could not be refuted. 

Gu Yizhou couldn’t help but notice that he wasn’t like Jiang Yun.  This month’s time had made him think about how to treat Gu Yuanyuan. 

“What do you want to eat? I’m not very familiar with the restaurants around here and I don’t know whether they taste good or not.” Gu Yizhou said, “but many colleagues said that the small noodle restaurant tastes good. Do you want to try it?”
