Chapter 59: Fashion Catastrophe!

Shortly after Ruth had left, Wells returned to his nest with the intention to continue his sleep. It would take a lot of time and sleep to recover completely, that’s why he was now catching up as much sleep as he could.

Lu Qiu was still sitting on the dining table. She had not finished making the stuff yesterday, so she planned to make several more items, such as her undergarments, for daily use. She should not wear a set of clothes, which she would wear next to her skin, continuously for a long time without ever changing it.

But at that busy moment, a tiny buzzing sound suddenly came from outside the window. Lu Qiu raised her head and saw a little drone, looking like a white UFO floating in the air. It flew up then landed on the castle’s courtyard.

Lu Qiu rose to her seat in abrupt and went near the window to look outside.

Wells opened his eyes in a daze. It took him 2 seconds, trying to remember what that thing was.

The bottom of the flying saucer had split open, creating a hole. Then from inside, something fell down. It was a two-meter large box.

Wells happily carried the box into the room. Afterward, he placed it on the table beside Lu Qiu.

“What is that thing?” Lu Qiu, who was holding the scissors, poked the box with it.

Wells tapped the box once and in an instant, the box changed its shape— it turned into a tiny wardrobe. When Lu Qiu turned her head to the front, she saw that the wardrobe’s interior was neatly filled with a lot of dress. They were either white or pink with different styles of cotton yarn ribbons and laces.

There were only a few animal cubs that were as small as Lu Qiu. Therefore, it took him some time to buy these clothes. All of the dress’s designs here were specially selected based on those animal cubs’ size.

Wells took out most of the pink-colored dresses that were popular nowadays and placed them in front of Lu Qiu’s body as if making a comparison in each and one of them— he was personally choosing a skirt for Lu Qiu to wear.

Lu Qiu immediately stepped back.

This style is too poisonous! With her clothing preference, even if she dies, she absolutely wouldn’t accept this kind of pink Barbie and lace style. Furthermore, it was matched with a bright pink bow. It’s practically a fashion catastrophe!

Is this the aesthetic of this world?!

Lu Qiu was extremely shocked for a moment. When she saw the suits inside Wells’ wardrobe, she thought that the clothing styles here were pretty good. But now, all of her impressions from before were overturned.

After all, they are animals, and a lot of them have different eyesight from humans. They can’t distinguish that many colors either.

But Wells still carried her clothes while happily looking forward to seeing her put it on. His expression was practically her face back when she forced her own pet to wear such funny clothes.

Lu Qiu covered her face for the nth time. What had she done to her cat before? No wonder it always stays up at night, crouching down by her bedside while staring at her with such dim eyes.

Although she didn’t like it very much, she still reached out to take the clothes in his paws while thinking about how the big cat sustained an injury in order to save her yesterday.

Wells widened his eyes and looked at her with great excitement, his tail almost wagging like a windmill, whirring.

Somehow, because of his excitement, he looked more like a giant dog instead of a giant cat.

Lu Qiu climbed down the table’s leg. Carrying the clothes in her arms, she hid inside the kitchen. First, she closed the door, then changed her clothes.

Wells blinked his eyes and turned his head. He decided to switch on the the-still-not-broken live broadcast ball.

As soon as he turned the live broadcast device on, the live broadcasting room also opened up.

Now that Wells already understood how the live broadcasting room works, he changed its category into pet category and changed the name of his channel from Wells’ Channel to Wells’ Qiu.

Because of yesterday’s event in his live broadcast, his audience now nearly reached 50,000 viewers, and after the enthusiasm in the evening had dropped, some animals still came to visit sporadically.

The number of his followers was nothing compared to the vast number of live broadcasting rooms. However, he was a super newcomer who became a hit during his first broadcast. This achievement was pretty good.

Yesterday’s event was still fresh inside the audiences’ memory. So, when they saw the broadcast notification from Wells’ Qiu Channel, these followers quickly jumped in to see what kind of surprise they would have today.

In the two minutes when he was setting up his channel, the number of his online viewers had reached 2,000 viewers.

“Opening a live broadcast, does it mean that everything’s okay now?”

“Is the host going to join the live broadcast? Perhaps, yesterday’s event was a scripted play to attract attention?”

Messages asking about yesterday’s event kept coming, but Wells didn’t respond. He merely aimed the live broadcast camera towards the kitchen door.

Lu Qiu had already finished changing her clothes now. The clothes here were rather strange for humans to wear. It resembled a straight tube with a strange and matchless big shirt collar. It was necessarily important to wear, otherwise, the clothes would fall down from her shoulder.

The main reason being that there weren’t many animals here who could wear clothes like humans. Animals can only do so when they touch the ground on all fours.

Leaving the style aside, the clothes’ materials were very comfortable and soft. Furthermore, you could even feel that the cotton yarn and lace on top of the clothes were not the slightest cheap in price.

Wells, seeing that she hadn’t come out for a long time, pushed down the door tentatively.

The door was pushed open, so Lu Qiu went out and didn’t stand behind it. She turned her back to the camera with her long black hair scattered behind her.
