Chapter 57: Behind Ruth’s Mind (1)

Lu Qiu had a good sleep, and as for Wells, he didn’t even get to take a nap for the whole night because the wound on his back felt dull and painful all night long. Ruth never left her side during this time. He only took a seat in front of the table and watched her movements.

Going back to two years prior, there was a mutation in the orangutan tribe, but it was simply a complete change of the coat color— becoming white, nothing like the appearance of a hairless monkey.

Lu Qiu’s origin is a mystery.

Ruth had investigated for a long time and finally heard some news from a hazel grouse1. From this, he found the place where Lu Qiu appeared first in the wilderness.
