Chapter 50: Feeding Lord Wells (2)

This noon’s meat, she hadn’t finished eating it because of the interruption. So now, Lu Qiu was also feeling a little bit hungry.
She just stood still, looking at the meat in the pan.

The meat is more than one meter thick and one meter wide. What should I do? Even if I want to, I can’t turn it over.

But upon seeing the giant cat look at her with a face full of hope and expectations, Lu Qiu rolled up her sleeves— she had to make the impossible possible.

She tiptoed to the cupboard and took out a one-meter long knife. Then, she squatted to the pan and began to cut the meat into two palm-sized pieces and piled them up on a plate. She deliberately sliced the meat into a size that was just right for the giant cat to swallow.

She turned the fire on and sutéed the meat, and almost instantly, the mouth-watering fragrance wafted into the air once again.

This meat compared to this noon’s meat was as good and fresh. The smell of the sautéed meat was so appetizing that Lu Qiu couldn’t help but swallow her saliva.
Afraid that the giant cat was not used to eating cooked food, she fried the meat only until the surface was slightly cooked, and then she stopped at once.

Wells, who was lying down, raised his head and looked at the little pet expectantly. He was eager to be fed. When his long-awaited plate was finally served, he couldn’t wait to open his mouth to take a bite.
“Hey! Don’t! It’s still hot!”
Lu Qiu tried to stop the giant cat, telling him not to be in a hurry. However, as soon as his eyes laid on the meat, he immediately took a bite making Lu Qiu unable to stop him at all. Two seconds later, the giant cat’s body stiffened. He suddenly spitted out the meat in his mouth, stuck his tongue out, and shook it vigorously as he growled with a low voice.

The giant cat was sticking his tongue out as if he was wronged. So, Lu Qiu couldn’t help but lean over and squat in front of him, blowing his tongue for a while.
On normal days, it was Ruth’s job to serve the food. Granted that he always let the food cool down before serving it, Wells usually didn’t have to wait for a long time to eat his meal, and that made him forget about this matter for a moment. How embarrassing. Fortunately, nobody saw it.

Wells looked at the little pet who was squatting in front of him while trying to cool his tongue down. She was too adorable that he couldn’t help but lick her cheeks.
But in the next moment, his face quickly turned awfully gloomy, and his expression became even more distorted.

It hurts.
He hurriedly moved to the sink and used the cold water to rinse his scalded tongue for a while before he finally recovered.

The giant cat’s face looked helpless as he stuck his tongue out to rinse it with running water. When she turned to look at him, Lu Qiu couldn’t stifle her laughter, so she could only turn her body and tremble for quite some time.

Cats are indeed the treasure of the world, the source of happiness!
Apart from the sautéed meat for dinner, Ruth also brought a plate of boiled shrimp, not the crayfish that Lu Qiu had seen before. However, this kind of shrimp simply didn’t resemble any normal shrimp.

The plate was huge, but there were only two shrimps in one plate, each of which exceeded Lu Qiu’s height. Both of its front pincers were also incomparably huge, like two meteor hammers, and those tiny spines on the pincers were as sharp as fangs, which allowed them to easily break a prey’s neck.

But even so, Lu Qiu still couldn’t help swallowing her saliva.
Ah! It’s the colossal shrimp once again. Who wouldn’t be happy to eat this kind of shrimp?!

Seeing her eyes staring straight at the shrimp, Wells pushed the plate to her, but after thinking for a moment, he took it back and opened his mouth to bite a piece of the shrimp’s tail, revealing the fair as snow meat to Lu Qiu. Afterward, he pushed the plate to her once again.

Lu Qiu happily chewed on the shrimp while Wells ate the sautéed meat made by the little pet.
He never found that the meat flavor could be so delicious before.

In the past, Well’s appetite wasn’t that much. However, today, he made an exception and ate a lot. He continued to nibble the shrimp tail for Lu Qiu and bit off its two front pincers. Crunch, crunch, crunch; the breaking sounds never stopped.

After they finished eating, one person and one cat were paralyzed together, and their action was precisely the same.
Lu Qiu felt that she ate too much, so she got up and quickly walked around after sitting for a while.

With his love for cleanliness, Wells also stood up and began to clean his paws and face.
After he finished cleaning himself, he then began to clean the little pet.

Lu Qiu was compelled to accept the giant cat’s good intention and was licked through her hands and mouth. She touched the corners of her mouth and started to think that if she kept on like this, her face would develop a rash sooner or later.

The stone castle was now in peace. None of them knew that the live broadcast aired this noon had caused a massive wave on the internet.
