Chapter 47: Bubble Bath for A Big Pink Cat

Wells leaned his head to see the little pet circling around him with funny gestures, looking quite energetic. The corners of his mouth couldn’t help but curl up, revealing a relaxed expression.

Lu Qiu, along with the giant cat, swam for quite a while. She originally thought that her physical strength wouldn’t be able to keep up, but unexpectedly, she actually lasted for a long time.

Wells swam all the way to the corner of the river before he came to a stop.

Lu Qiu reached out to place her hand on his back and found that she could feel the bones underneath his skin.

During an ordinary day, his fur had prevented him from looking like this. It was rather unexpected that he was this thin.

Inexplicably, she felt a little heartache.

However, Wells didn’t feel sorry for himself. He raised his paw and looked at it. His paws were still covered with a layer of red that hadn’t been washed off, the same with his body.

Blood was always the most difficult to clean. After the soaked layer of blood was washed away, even the place where he didn’t get stained with blood was dyed pink.

Wells couldn’t help but click his tongue. This was the reason why he hates being stained with blood.

Bathing the giant cat and so on, she could definitely do it!

After she washed them away, the foam did not drift with the current. Instead, it dissolved in the water after a moment and disappeared completely.

Lu Qiu, who was worried about whether it would cause water pollution, immediately felt relieved and began to boldly rub the giant cat clean.

First, the claws, then the upper limbs, and the back— the giant cat’s figure was practically covered with white bubbles.

He obediently lied in the water, allowing his pet to climb up and down on his body. He then narrowed his eyes and purred comfortably.

Lu Qiu was standing on the giant cat’s back while brushing it, making her look like she was mopping the floor while holding a large amount of bubbles in her hands. Starting from her neck, she ran all the way down to his back, then to his buttocks, rubbing them with both hands.

The cat, who was originally feeling tensed, obediently lied down under her ministrations.

After smoothing out all of the giant cat’s hair at once, Lu Qui felt really exhausted with her forehead covered in sweat. Although she felt tired, an immense happiness had filled her heart, and at this point, all the tiredness she felt in the past had been completely ignored.

After brushing the cat’s back, she scooped the water beside her and rinsed the bubbles. Then, she climbed to the back of his neck and began to wash his head.

The fur on the back of the cat’s head went down, and his two sharp ears turned into pointed airplane-wing-like ears. The entire fur drooped, and the fur on his neck voluntarily moved up and down wildly along with her hands.

Purr… purr… He hasn’t stopped purring from the beginning to the end.

Lu Qiu couldn’t help rubbing his ears.

She turned the cat’s face around, then lifted the water to his cheeks and rubbed it gently. It felt like a dough and was softer than she had expected.

After the bubbles had covered his head and cheeks, the originally fierce giant cat emitted a kind of endearingly silly feeling.

Wells half squinted his eyes and enjoyed the care of his little pet. The whiskers on his lips also raised up along with the movement.

When she leaned closer, Lu Qiu gently wiped his nose and the corners of his eyes.

The cat’s eyes were particularly prone to accumulate eyes’ dropsy, which happens because they suffer from internal heat. Even if Wells had paid great attention to hygiene, and washed his feet and face every day, he still couldn’t clean them thoroughly.

As his eyes narrowed, Wells felt the little pet’s hand rubbed against his eyes, so his body tensed up in reflex.

The eyes were the most fragile area— one of the weaknesses of almost all animals. So, he had never let others to casually touch it, not even Ruth.

Even if he could resist the impulse and not hurt the pet, he couldn’t help but want to do something.

With his teeth itching, Wells couldn’t help but open his mouth and gently rub his tooth against the little pet’s arm.

Lu Qiu felt a little itchy. She reached out and touched the corner of the cat’s mouth, but happened to touch his fangs with one hand instead.

“Stay quiet. It’s almost done.”

There wasn’t that much gum in the giant cat’s eye. It’s quite clean.

Finally, after all the washing was done, Wells jumped forward and dived into the deep water, washed himself from head to foot again, and then flew out into the air.

Then he started to float in the air and throw water by swinging his fur like he used to do.

After he finished throwing off the water, the giant cat stood in the air and began to tidy up its messy fur, lick its paws, and clean its face with them.

At that time, the sun began to fall towards the horizon as it seemed to have turned into a huge egg yolk, even the entire sky turned into a golden sheet.
