Chapter 20: Panic!!!

Wells had landed on the grassland. The original green grassland gradually turned dark green because of the sunset.

A closer look revealed that these grasses were more than one meter in height, some were even more than two meters and three meters high. This height was practically almost the same with a tree!

On the account of Wells’ sudden appearance, the originally ‘tranquil grassland’ vanished in a flash.

At a glance, Lu Qiu saw a group of rabbits and groundhogs running around in panic. The grass shook and rattled as if a violent gust of wind had passed.

In the distance, a flock of sheep was also frightened and ran around following the huge head sheep as the bellwether.

She failed to​ notice that a lion appeared in the distance. It quietly followed behind the running flock and easily bit off a single sheep.

The eagle, who had previously communicated with Wells, hovered at a low altitude for a while. He suddenly rushed down, plunging into the grass, then quickly picked up a huge fat rabbit between his claws.

The rabbit’s strong hind legs were still kicking towards the giant eagle in the air. It looked like that even a rock mountain would crack from just a single kick!

Lu Qiu looked at this cruel scene that only belonged to the animal world. She was shocked by how dangerous this world was again.

Wells flew over to the nearest forest around the prairie and startled a flock of flying birds. He then flew towards the tallest tree in the forest and landed on a huge bird nest between the branches. It was more than three meters wide.

Three light blue eggs laid quietly in the nest but there were no female birds around.

Wells raised his paws but hesitated for a moment while looking at the three eggs. Then, he grabbed the smallest one.

Even though it was the smallest egg, it still exceeded half a meter

Wells dropped the egg on his back. He was extremely precise in controlling his strength. The egg rolled twice on his back and stopped just right in front of Lu Qiu, not being too far away nor hitting her body.

Lu Qiu straightened her body slightly, touched the eggshell, tapped it again, then withdrew her hand in pain.

This egg is as hard as an egg-shaped fossil.

Currently, the sky was completely dark. Various insects and songbirds came from the dark forest which made Lu Qiu recall the night when she woke up in this world.

Those huge bugs still made her scalp numb.

Her hand tightened its clutches on the cat’s fur unconsciously.

Realizing​ that Lu Qui was nervous, Wells no longer wandered and went straight back to the stone castle.

I’ll just let the little pet see the danger and cruelty outside. Let’s see if she will still think about escaping again.

Lu Qiu did extinguish the thought of going outside to sightsee for a while. There were no humans in this area of a thousand miles. With her two short legs, she couldn’t go too far even for a day.

After she was placed back onto the soft bed, Lu Qiu rubbed her stomach.

I ate two pieces of fruit in the morning. Both of them were already digested cleanly so I am a bit hungry now.

But the hunger was not the point. The point was that these fruits were digested and she kind of wanted to go to the toilet.

She was desperate to go to the toilet. She actually urinated a little after she saw how the eagle caught the poor rabbit.
