Chapter 16: Shen Wanying’s Worries

Shen Wanying was now regretting it very much.

She had indeed indulged in reading American literature, but the pressure on high school studies had kept her from reading for a long time. Her book was still with Huo Cheng. She stared at the book in Huo Cheng’s hand and walked behind him without saying a word.

Huo Cheng, who was walking in front of her, suddenly stopped. He turned around and handed the book to her, “Your book.”

“……” Shen Wanying was silent for a moment before taking the book from his hand and running away as fast as she could, “Thank you!”

She felt like she could die from embarrassment.

She didn’t know how to face Huo Cheng again in the future.
