“What if he really can’t solve them?”

… That actually sounded like a plan!

The crowd was shocked and broke into animated discussion.

“Shit! He’s solved the math one already. Guys, check Google for the answer!”

The bunch of people gathered round and began to search for the correct answer online.

The results soon came back and Sheng Yize’s answer was correct!

“That was a geometric function problem… Gosh, I can’t even remember a sine function…”

“Shit! He’s solved the chemistry one as well! He’s balanced the equations!”

The crowd felt like kneeling at Sheng Yize’s feet!

The last physics question was quite complicated. Sheng Yize checked the time after he finished it, and saw that it had been 15 minutes since he started.

“That’s too long.” He shook his head and sighed.

It had taken him some time to recall the formulas. Back in the day, he didn’t even need 5 minutes.

Still amazed by the fact that he could solve the problems at all, the onlookers felt like going down on their knees and calling out “long live the genius”!

Inside, Su Xiaomo watched this in bafflement.

“Shit… is Sheng Yize even human?”

An Xiaxia felt like prostrating herself in worship. She couldn’t even understand the questions, let alone solve them.

Su Xiaomo opened the door. Sheng Yize walked in gracefully, and held out a hand toward An Xiaxia.

“Xiaxia, come with me.”

Eyes shining, An Xiaxia put her fair little hand into Sheng Yize’s.

Their fingers entwined and his warm hand wrapped around hers.

They looked into each other’s eyes. Time seemed to stop.

The wedding took place in the old Sheng family estate.

All the guests were wealthy, respectable people, and the cups were going around gaily, making it a boisterous event.

The manor was decorated with white roses and the color theme was simple yet elegant. There was a giant arch of fresh flowers, pink balloons, well-dressed violinists, and a white-haired priest — it was indeed a big fat wedding.

The wedding march started, and An Xiaxia slowly walked in from one end of the red carpet, led by Papa An.

Sheng Yize’s usual haughty expression was gone, replaced by a gentle smile which was stunning enough to amaze anyone.

The distance between them grew shorter and shorter.

With teary eyes, Papa An put An Xiaxia’s hand in Sheng Yize’s one with a solemn air.

“This time, I’m handing my daughter to you myself. I wish you two a happy, loving life from now on.”

Papa An began to sob after those words.

An Xiaxia was touched and was going to cry along when Papa An enjoined, “Don’t cry. You’ll ruin your makeup.”

“Yes!” All that An Xiaxia could do was nod and fight back her tears.

“My daughter looks so beautiful today.” Papa An rubbed An Xiaxia’s head. “My dear daughter, I wish you all the happiness in the world!”

Handing his own daughter over to another man was probably the cruelest moment for a father.

Sheng Yize looked into Papa An’s eyes and made his solemn promise. “She’s my top priority and I love her more than anyone in this world.”
