Gu Yezhi seized Bai Qingyan’s suitcase from her hands with a cold, threatening expression.

“Yan Yan, what are you doing?”

He recognized the suitcase, one that Bai Qingyan had brought with her when she married him. She was carrying it while heading out… What did it mean?

With empty hands, Bai Qingyan anxiously flexed her fingers, feeling soreness in her heart. Her long eyelashes hung down, hiding her red eyes for a moment.

“Gu Yezhi, let’s divorce.”

“You dare say it again?!” Gu Yezhi sounded more severe and many degrees colder. His anger made him breathe harshly over Bai Qingyan’s face. The veins on his forehead stood out and his furious grasp on Bai Qingyan’s chin tightened.

Did she say divorce?

She even said divorce twice!

Did she know that he waited for her to grow up until she was 15 years old? After much waiting, he finally married her when she became 20. It had been only a month since they married and she asked him for a divorce?!

Bai Qingyan was frightened into silence by his expression. She blinked rapidly and involuntarily retreated, back hitting against the cold wall when she couldn’t retreat any further. Her fingers grasped at the wall but, at the same time, a faint expectation rose in her heart.

Could it be… He didn’t want a divorce?

She mentioned divorcing and he got angry. So he didn’t want a divorce?

Bai Qingyan pressed down on her budding expectation and looked at Gu Yezhi’s face with red eyes. “We’ve been married for a month, but we’re constantly quarreling. It seems the old saying is right, ‘if a couple is unsuitable, then the family won’t be happy!’

His face twisted in a sneer and his grip on her chin tightened a bit more. “You’re tired?”
