Chapter 32: Believed In Her Son (1) 

When Gu Yuanyuan wanted to leave the store for the third time to see where her son went Gu Yizhou instead appeared before her holding a cup of warm milk tea. 

But Gu Yuanyuan’s heart was so moved that she believed her son was delayed in order to buy milk tea for her. 

“Thank you, Erbao.”   After Gu Yuanyuan held the milk tea, Gu Yizhou noticed that his original bowl of noodles was missing. 

Gu Yuanyuan explained with a smile: “The noodles were becoming soggy. Before you came back, I gave your noodles to the guests at the other table.” 

Gu Yizhou didn’t  mention the matter of the woman secretly taking photos. What  Gu Yuanyuan didn’t know was that a few minutes ago, he  threatened those people with his medical skills, which became very easy. He made sure those paparazzi deleted all photos and vowed that they would never report any news of Gu Yuanyuan in the future. 

After lunch, Gu Yuanyuan learned that Erbao didn’t have any surgeries to do in the afternoon and only needed to be back at 2 o’clock. Therefore, they didn’t rush back to the hospital. Instead, they strolled around the street and took a walk. 

In the distance, a cart selling pancakes was slowly travelling through town. Someone went to buy some pancakes and the cart stopped. Soon, the smell was carried on the cold wind. Gu Yuanyuan couldn’t help looking over in their direction.
 

“Want to eat?” Gu Yizhou asked. 

Gu Yuanyuan shook her head against her will. 

She sipped on her milk tea that was bought by her son while gazing at the pancake cart. She only ate a large bowl of noodles…if she ate a fruit pancake wouldn’t she be eating too much? 

While thinking about it, Gu Yizhou had already gone there. Gu Yuanyuan had to keep up with him. She heard Gu Yizhou say to the cart owner, “I want a pancake.” 

The boss smiled,”Original or do you want to add anything?” 

He pointed to the target price, and added some sides to reach that price. 

As a doctor, Gu Yizhou rarely ate from this kind of roadside stall. He thought for a while and looked at Gu Yuanyuan, her eyes caught up with him. Gu Yizhou’s corners lips curled up slightly and said, “Just add them all.”
 

Gu Yuanyuan: “……” 

The stall owner was very happy. Adding everything means more money. How could he not be happy? 

After waiting awhile, Gu Yuanyuan held a luxurious pancake and wanted to share half with Gu Yizhou. However, he said he didn’t want any. 

“Just one bite, one bite.” Gu Yuanyuan caught up, “Erbao, you have to taste this.” 

Gu Yizhou sprinted away with his long legs instead of only running, leaving his mother behind while she chased him angrily. 

“Yizhou.” A surprised female doctor in a white coat exclaimed as she saw Gu Yizhou entering the hospital doors in a hurry. 

Gu Yuanyuan rushed over without stopping. Gu Yizhou reached out to stop her in case she fell. 

“Dr. Xu.” Gu Yizhou put away the smile on his face and nodded to Xu Bingyun. 

Gu Yuanyuan pulled on Gu Yizhou’s arm, put half of the pancake fruit into her bag, and looked at the female doctor opposite them. 

The female doctor was tall, her facial features were beautiful and her hair was tied in a high ponytail. She was also wearing a slim white coat which made her a little dashing. 

Intuition told Gu Yuanyuan that this female doctor’s identity was probably not ordinary. 

“She is Dr. Xu Bingyun, one of the best surgeons in the hospital, and the daughter of the hospital president,” Gu Yizhou explained to Gu Yuanyuan thoughtfully. 

Is she the daughter of the president whom the nurses talked about chasing after her son and was rejected? 

Gu Yuanyuan’s first impression of Xu Bingyun was quite good. When she looked again this time, she subconsciously looked at her future daughter-in-law. 

Regardless of her facial features, body shape, the feeling she had… standing beside her Erbao, it was very suitable. 

Gu Yuanyuan’s eyes lit up. 

For the first time, Xu Bingyun heard such a formal introduction from Gu Yizhou’s mouth about herself. The target of the introduction was still… She turned her eyes and looked at Gu Yuanyuan. 

Xu Bingyun was immediately shocked. 

She has always been very confident in herself. She came from a medical family and has always been exposed to the world since childhood. She has made many achievements in medicine at a young age.
