Chapter 26: Going Home With Dabao (1)

Gu Yizhou was the first to speak up. “Older brother, did you know that Shaosi is our third brother?”

Jiang Yun looked at the two people and understood clearly. “You’ve already found Shaosi?”

Time passed quickly as both sides told each other what they knew.

Gu Yizhou realized that Jiang Yun had long recognized Lin Shaosi, but he didn’t recognize him.

Meanwhile, Jiang Yun didn’t even think that he was looking for Gu Yizhou and that he had already recognized his third brother. He only realised this today.

He had even accidentally recognized his mother today as well.

This evening was really… intriguing.

In other words, Lin Shaosi didn’t yet know the true identity of Gu Yuanyuan. If they couldn’t tell him personally, even if Gu Yuanyuan admitted to being his mother, Lin Shaosi wouldn’t believe it.

The two brothers looked at one another and understood each other tacitly: We’re not telling Lin Shaosi!

“Why do you want to film with Shaosi?” Jiang Yun continued to bring the topic up. Although he didn’t know how difficult filming was, he often heard news of Lin Shaosi being injured, but it would be nothing if a man was injured.

This is the job he had chosen, and he thought about it deeply; however, when this job was taken by their mother, then it wasn’t a trivial matter.

Based on his understanding of Gu Yizhou’s childhood personality, among his four siblings, Gu Yizhou was the most considerate and sensible. As a young boy, he had truly cared for Gu Yuanyuan, so how could he let Gu Yuanyuan follow Lin Shaosi into filming?

There must have been a reason.

Gu Yuanyuan took Gu Yizhou’s hand and shook it gently, indicating that he should not mention Lu Wenchen. Of course she knew her eldest son had outstanding ability; however, his financial resources couldn’t compare with the Lu Family.

Even more so, she couldn’t let Jiang Yun know of Lu Wenchen’s existence. If, by chance, Dabao got into a dispute with that pervert Lu Wenchen for her sake, who knew what would happen if that pervert took action?

In the original book, all four sons cooperated with the male owner and spent a lot of money just to get rid of Lu Wenchen. They knew that the abnormal villain had too much prestige.

Moreover, the Lu Family had many bodyguards and a very wide network of connections; otherwise, Lu Wenchen wouldn’t have been the biggest villain in the book. Even so, Lu Wenchen’s father was also… bombed. The bomb had been installed in his car silently—this kind of assassination method was no different from one seen in an action movie.

She was worried that the pervert would become irritated, and in spite of everything, he would kill both sides. If Dabao was injured, then the benefits wouldn’t outweigh the losses.

She had to take extreme measures to deal with this person who had no moral bottom line. Recently, that pervert had been quite a good person, and his vicious habits had lessened. As long as he didn’t become a villain, he can do whatever he likes.

Gu Yizhou understood Gu Yuanyuan’s meaning and looked down at her hand holding his— it was so slender and soft. He placed his hands behind his back and stayed silent.

Gu Yuanyuan tilted her head and smiled with her eyebrows raised. “Xiaosi has no one to take care of him. I was also curious, so I followed him to see for myself. In the end, the director saw that I looked good and performed well, so he made me a member of the supporting cast. “

Jiang Yun looked at Gu Yuanyuan and then at Gu Yizhou’s hands, instantly realizing that Gu Yuanyuan was hiding something and had asked Gu Yizhou not to say anything.

He looked at Gu Yizhou, who looked back at him. They looked at each other and then staggered casually.

Gu Yuanyuan didn’t notice the eye contact between her two children at all; she was momentarily overwhelmed. She had thought that she would only promise to help Shu Ran and came to the Shu family to celebrate the old man’s birthday. It was a good promise.

When the car reached a junction, Gu Yizhou suddenly said, “I have an operation tomorrow morning. I’ll go back first.”

Jiang Yun naturally had a place to live in Beijing. Gu Yizhou knew he would take over Gu Yuanyuan. He didn’t argue, but of course he couldn’t agree at the moment.

And–

Seeing how his mother looked, she had seen this between her and Lin Shaosi before, and now again with his older brother. He presumed that she would be more willing to be with Jiang Yun.

“Yes, Erbao has to go to work tomorrow and must go to bed early.”

Jiang Yun frowned. Although he also wanted to catch up with his younger brother, he was an adult man. He had plenty of opportunities in the future and so didn’t dwell on it.

Gu Yizhou’s BMW was in the back and Jiang Yun’s bodyguard drove it to them, stopping in front of the group. Gu Yuanyuan pulled Jiang Yun and was about to go along with him.

This move stunned the two men.
