Chapter 142: I Want Uncle to Carry Me (4)

She seemed to didn’t care or that she hid her thoughts too deeply.

Yao Guang walked lightly and when she passed by Shen Yuan, she slowed down, but she was indifferent. The entire time, she didn’t look at Shen Yuan.

The camera kept on following Ye Fan and He Han. They expressed Yao Guang and Shen Yuan’s feelings to the full extent.

Yao Guang walked out of the palace and at this time, the swords were raised at her.

That was the General’s army. The soldiers all pointed their swords at Yao Guang, attempting to kill her.

Shen Yuan narrowed his eyebrows and spit out, “Retreat.”

His tone was like the frosty wind, without any temperature.

The soldiers didn’t place their weapons down. The enemy country’s princess was standing before them and they should kill her.

Shen Yuan opened his mouth again, his voice even icier than the blade of the sword.

“I said to retreat!”

Shen Yuan’s voice was so cold that the soldiers felt the pressure looming over them, threatening.

The soldiers trembled and they lowered their heads, slowly placing their weapons down and taking a few steps back, making a path.

Yao Guang’s expression didn’t change at all. She walked ahead and the hem of her dress swayed in the wind.

Yao Guang walked really slowly, but revealed her elegance and nobleness with each step.

Right now, the scene was extremely quiet.

They couldn’t shift their gaze away from Ye Fan’s performance.

He Han’s acting was that intense, but he didn’t suppress Ye Fan either.

Ye Fan didn’t say anything and just through her expression and actions, she completely captured the attention of everyone. They couldn’t help but fall under her feet.

Yao Guang got in the prisoner car and she finally looked over at Shen Yuan.

She gazed faintly and said softly.

“Prime Minister Shen, you don’t need to do this for me.”

“Yao Guang should’ve died with the Qi Country. This is just unnecessary.”

Shen Yuan clenched his hands tightly and felt the pain in his palm which was reminding him of their differences in status.

“I do everything based on my feelings.”

Shen Yuan didn’t say anything after the simple words.

He Han gazed at Ye Fan and said this.

He was like Shen Yuan. He protected Yao Guang because he cared about her.

Yet, he paid attention to Ye Fan because she was that person.

They did things with their heart and this never changed because of someone or something.

It was unsure whether he was following the script or saying this from his heart.

Yao Guang looked to the side and stopped looking at Shen Yuan. The latter also kept quiet and said nothing.

The alone and aloof prince sat in the prisoner car and the young Prime Minister rode the horse ahead.

There seemed to be a huge gap between the two of them and they could never reach one another.

Everyone was immersed in the world Ye Fan and He Han created. Their feelings followed along the two’s actions and they felt the loneliness and coldness as well.

The director said, “Cut!”

“Very good!” The director was really happy that they were able to get through this difficult scene in one try. He couldn’t help but praise He Han and Ye Fan’s amazing acting skills.

The acting today brought the recording off to a great start. It seemed like the filming in the future would be very successful too.

…

He Han came out and sat in the car, suddenly thinking of Dudu who he encountered at Cheng Ping’s house.

He tapped the steering wheel.

In the next second, he turned the car around.

He Han was originally going home, but he suddenly changed his mind now.

He slowly drove the car to Cheng Ping’s house.

It just so happens that Dudu was at Cheng Ping’s house because Ye Fan had to deal with some things at the company and something happened in Aunt Li’s house.

Ye Fan brought Dudu to Cheng Ping’s house and requested her to take care of him.

He Han stopped the car in front of Cheng Ping’s house.

He got out of the car and went in.

Aunt Li just came out of the room when she saw him. She was preparing to head to the supermarket to buy somet things.

When Aunt Li saw He Han, she smiled and nodded.

“Is Xiaoxiao at home?”

He Han stopped and looked at Aunt Li.

Aunt Li shook her head and said, “Xiaoxiao wanted to learn how to swim, so she left for her swimming class already.”
