Chapter 1501: Taking the Goods

“Ah…” The two teams were in the middle of a standoff, and all of a sudden this guy came over and talked as if he owned the place- though they understood, much to their dismay, when they saw Zhang Naipao there.

They knew very well who Zhang Naipao was, after all, and couldn’t help but feel a heavy regret. If they were to just give up on this herb and moved on, they wouldn’t encounter Naipao in the first place!

Now great, not only would they lose this herb, they would also lose everything else they had collected!

“What… Do you guys want?” One of the practitioners asked, with a trace of hope. He was praying that Naipao’s team was just passing by, or that they just had their eye on this particular herb. If so, they would be safe!

“What do you think? Hand out all of your herbs nicely and Great Pao will let you guys live. Or else… Hmph, you already know what happened to that Ling Yi, don’t you? If you guys think you’re able to recover from being sucked dry by Naipao then come have a go!” Niapao mocked.

“So you’re just going to take our stuff?” The other late phase peak practitioner didn’t want to just let them go- he was the strongest here, after all, even stronger than Naipao- why did he have to just give away his things?

“Just taking it? What a joke, you didn’t hear the rules? We’re allowed to just take the stuff from other teams in this test! Are you deaf or do you have amnesia?” Niapao smiled coldy, “What, you guys don’t want to give us your stuff?”

“Smart!” The late phase peak Mystic scoffed coldly as well, and channeled his practitioner’s arts, sending a fist at the Naipao from some distance away, “Kill the leader first- I’ll handle Naipao, all of you, cripple the rest of them when the chance comes! Otherwise we’ll lose all our points to them!”

In the eyes of this late phase peak practitioner, he really didn’t want to just give away the entirety of his treasure to him- if he were to make a move now, everyone would likely go along and ally themselves with him!

But, this Mystic late phase peak really underestimated everyone’s guts here- he thought that, even though the other team might not help them, at least his own team would make a move!

This was all for their benefit, after all!

But his two teammates didn’t do anything at all- let alone the other team!

His two team members joined him for the test at the last minute, and they didn’t even have a proper relationship with him- they were just with him for profit! Everyone’s thoughts were simple- and that was fighting Naipao was not a reasonable option! The guy’s Wasp Absorption Arts was able to turn the opponent into a cripple- no one would risk that!

Plus, even if they were to injure Naipao, would that be the end of it? The guy was from an ancient sect, the Everyday and Every Day sect! Getting targeted by an enemy like this would mean the end of their days! They would even drag their families into this as well!

So nobody made any sudden moves- they all wanted to see what would happen first. If this Mystic late phase peak was able to beat Naipao, then naturally they’d build on that and help him out- if not, what was the point? They might as well hand over everything to him!

Without their points, they could just go find other herbs- even if they didn’t, they could just fail the test. If they were to lose all of their strength, however, that’d be the end of their lives!

But, that late phase peak practitioner was different- he was pumped full of adrenaline, and flung himself at Naipao while Naipao only extended his hand to welcome him, taking on his attack. He started his Chrysanthemum Wasp Absorption Arts and began sucking the practitoiner’s qi into his own!

The practitioner’s face froze- he’d heard of this before, but only now when he was experiencing it firsthand did he realize the horrors of it! In the past, he’d only heard rumors of the terrifying Naipao- he thought that even if he was able to take someone’s strength, he could just stop channeling his arts. How would he suck anything out of him then?

He also saw that Ling Yi yesterday, too- he didn’t lose any strength at all, and even broke through? He assumed then, that Naipao terrifying strength was only a rumor, the guy wasn’t that strong at all!

But only now did he realize his mistake- and what a grave mistake that was! He stopped channeling his arts, but the qi inside his body still continued flowing over- he couldn’t stop it at all!

And he couldn’t remove his fist!

He understood that all the rumors were true- they weren’t made up at all, and as his heart was filled with regret, his rage was also building – his companions weren’t doing anything!

“What are you guys doing, do something! I’m losing all my qi!” The Msytic late phase peak practitioner screamed angrily.

The members only looked at each other- no one dared make a move against that!

What a joke, if even an late phsae peak Mystic wasn’t strong enough to handle Naipao, what chance did they have?

“What, you guys want to help? Sure, come, I’ll suck all of you dry” Naipao smiled coldly.

“Impossible- I don’t believe that, you’ve got only two arms, how many more people can you absorb at the same time?” The practitioner evidently wanted to prove to his teammates that Naipao was lying, shooting out his left fist and right leg!

But in the next instant, all his limbs were stuck onto Naipao, and he wasn’t able to move them at all!

His qi was leaving his body at an even more rapid pace!

His teammates stood there, even more still than they were before the scene.

“We’ll give you all our treasure..” The weakest one, the early phase Mystic, was almost peeing himself at this point- he quickly took everything out and emptied it onto the ground!

In order to prove that he was empty handed, he took out his electronic card as well to show him the empty number!

“You guys?” Niaopao nodded, satisfied, “Not bad kid, you’re not an idiot!”

With the weak practitioner taking the lead, everyone took out their items, which were collected speedily by the happy duo Niaopao and Niaoqiang. Of course, they gave the most of it to Naipao- they didn’t dare take any more than what they were supposed to!
