“Okay…” Xiaoxiao nodded and entered the tent with Lin Yi.

The air was already flirtatious and awkward enough when they were outside- the moment they entered, all of that intensified immensely!

It wasn’t that Lin Yi was never alone in a room with Xiaoxiao before. In fact, she was actually in her birthday suit at that time! It was just that he wasn’t in a relationship with Xiaoxiao back then. They were just classmates. The two now, however, were a couple!

There were some aspects of fakery in their relationship, but the two now liked each other, and that changed things!

“Xiaoxiao, did you feel uncomfortable after eating that seafood?” Lin Yi switched the topic, breaking the awkwardness. Although, he did worry about this- Xiaoxiao’s sickness acted up after seafood the last time, as well.

But just as her heart melted, she felt even more scared. She worried that her death would cause Lin Yi trouble!

Xiaoxiao had a rush to tell him the truth right here and now, but the words were stuck at the corners of her mouth.

“That’s good then- remember to tell me if something feels wrong, I’ll help you!” Lin Yi said.

“Okay…” Xiaoxiao nodded, not as nervous as before.

“Then let’s rest early- we still have to watch the sunrise in the morning.” Lin Yi said. “I’ll turn the lights off? They’re battery-powered, after all.”

“Ah… Yeah…. Wait, we’re sleeping now?” Xiaoxiao blinked. Lin Yi was sleeping already?

She looked at him a little uncertainly–was this the sleep resting, or were they doing something else after the lights were off?

“The sunrise comes early at the beach. If we don’t sleep early, we can’t wake up.” Lin Yi said.

“Oh…” Xiaoxiao couldn’t tell what Lin Yi genuinely mean by that.

Lin Yi turned the lights off, and the tent went into darkness!

“Sleep tight. Good night.” Lin Yi lay down.

Xiaoxiao paused- she didn’t expect that Lin Yi meant to sleep! Looking at him, he didn’t even want to take out his jacket, nor was he trying to get close to her- this made her feel unnatural!

Her eyes were open as she looked at Lin Yi, who was facing away.

The two were lying very close together, and Xiaoxiao was supposed to be nervous and excited, but all of that was gone!

Lin Yi didn’t look like he wanted to go any further at all!

A long while after, when Lin Yi wasn’t do anything at all, Xiaoxiao cursed silently at him! What a dummy, they were alone in the night, a girl and a boy, and he had zero thoughts whatsoever? Even the girl was thinking about it!

“Lin Yi… Honey, you asleep?” Xiaoxiao couldn’t hold it in anymore.

“Not yet.” lin Yi smiled bitterly as he opened his eyes. He didn’t have any problems down there, but Lin Yi was extensively trained- he had abnormal self-control!

Lin Yi didn’t even know if he liked Xiaoxiao- how could he go any further with her if he didn’t make sure of that first?

As time went on, he knew that he had some feelings towards her. She felt closer and more personal, but the more he felt that way, the more troubled he was! He didn’t want her to die, but there was nothing he could do!

“Then… Let’s chat? I can’t fall asleep either…” Xiaoxiao wasn’t tired at all- Lin Yi was lying right beside her, she was too excited and nervous to be sleeping!

“Sure… Chat about what?” Lin Yi turned around, and while he couldn’t see Xiaoxiao’s expression in the darkness, her eyes were visible. He felt like he wanted to care for her- but he also felt that life was unfair!

He wanted to save her life!!

“Tell me… Your relationship with my dad? You two were colleagues? But now…” Xiaoxiao was always curious about how Lin Yi knew his father- she knew about his father’s job a little bit, after all!

“Haha, it’s nothing much. I’m not considered actual colleagues with your father, but I did join in as an outside force once, so I have freedom.” Lin Yi smiled and shrugged. “That’s all I can say- the rest is secret, you probably get it.”

“Oh… I see.” Xiaoxiao was a bit disappointed but didn’t press on.

Taizao was using binoculars to spy on Mengyao and Lin Yi’s tents.

It was Jianwen who was spying on them, but he felt that the job was too dry- he couldn’t even listen to their conversations, and so he passed it on to Taizao!

“An Bro, according to my observations, Mengyao and Yushu and Tang Yun is in the same tent, while Lin Yi is in the same one with Feng Xiaoxiao! They never came out after rentering the tent!”
