Chapter 17: Commotion at the Club

Gradually, the people in the classroom tapered out, leaving Shen Wanying, who’d stayed behind, and Huo Cheng, who’d refused to leave, remaining in the classroom.

After another two or three minutes of awkward silence, Shen Wanying finally stood up and went over to Huo Cheng and talked to him first, “Huo Cheng, let’s go to the Archery Club.”

“Ok.” Huo Cheng stood up and they walked together to the Archery Club.

At that time, Huo Cheng recalled that Fang Yichang had invited him to join his club before, so he asked Shen Wanying, “What club does Fang Yichang have?”

As far as he knew, Fang Yichang was a problematic student who gave teachers a headache. He was the only one who got into gangs and fought with others. Joining a club properly didn’t seem like his style.

Shen Wanying explained to Huo Cheng: “It’s a small group that he created before. Now it has been whitewashed and registered as a club called Wushu Club.”

As the club name suggests, they like to find fellow classmates and verify their martial knowledge when they are free.

However, Fang Yichang had learned martial arts and won awards. It seemed that he had also won a provincial award. Therefore, this club had survived so far and had not been banned by the school.

Huo Cheng didn’t answer him, but he looked at Tian Yu and said, “I didn’t promise you to participate.”

Tian Yu looked at Shen Wanying with anger and sadness.

Huo Cheng said calmly: “It has nothing to do with you.”

“Hey, you guys…” Hong Hong was about to attack again, but Fang Yichang dragged him. They walked out of the archery club room.

Hong Hong followed Fang Yichang and asked him, unconvinced, “Brother Chang, what did you pull me away for? We should really teach Huo Cheng a lesson, otherwise he will ride on our faces.”

Fang Yichang glanced at him, “Do you think he didn’t ride on our faces just now?”

Hong Hong: “…”
