“?” An Yibei frowned. “We’re not busy today and you can start later.”

He opened his door politely for Ai Bao as he spoke. “Come in.”

Ai Bao was utterly abashed. Gosh! Was this what she thought it was? Aww… Mr. An was indeed a handsome man and she liked him, but wasn’t this going too fast?

Seeing her still standing here, the corner of An Yibei’s mouth twitched. “Come in, or your breakfast will get cold.”

Ai Bao looked like she had just woken up from a dream. “Mr. An, is that what you referred to when you said… feeding me?”

An Yibei retorted, “What else?” His tone was unbelievably serious. After a pause, he asked, “What kind of ‘feed’ did you have in mind, Ai Bao?”

Ai Bao’s smile was more like a grimace. “I was thinking about breakfast as well, of course… hoho…”

She rushed into his office. Behind her, An Yibei smiled teasingly, closed the door, and pulled Ai Bao into his arms. A kiss then landed on Ai Bao’s forehead.

“Speaking of that, I’m actually quite hungry.” An Yibei smiled a little. “How about you? Are you hungry?”

Ai Bao went completely stiff and bit her lip anxiously. “I – I…”

She would stammer whenever she got nervous. An Yibei couldn’t bring himself to tease her anymore and let go of her. “Go eat.”

A sumptuous breakfast which he had ordered especially for her was laid out on the table.

Ai Bao was greatly moved. She played with her phone as she ate. “Mr. An, how did you know that I didn’t have breakfast?”

He gave her a light tap on the forehead and said with a stern face, “I’ll give you another chance to rephrase that.”

“Huh?” Ai Bao was confused. What was wrong with what she just said?

Wait… was Mr. An into the really girly type?

After some thought, she cleared her throat and said in a saccharine voice, “Mr. An, I was super hungry! But how did you know~”

An Yibei was speechless.

Ai Bao had a sweet voice to begin with, and when she made an effort to butter him up, it almost melted his heart.

“Don’t talk to other guys like that,” An Yibei said with a straight face.

“Alright…”

“And, what I meant was that you can ditch the ‘mister’ from now on. That’s not how you address your boyfriend.”

Ai Bao almost spat her milk out. That was what he meant by rephrasing!

Lowering her head shyly, she went back to her breakfast.

An Yibei sipped at his black coffee, then started working on his case.

Something occurred to Ai Bao just then and she looked up. “Mr. An… I mean, Yibei, have you had breakfast yet?”

“No.”

Ai Bao was embarrassed as she realized what a careless girlfriend she was.

She faintly recalled that An Yibei wasn’t in the habit of eating breakfast, but he had prepared one just for her.

She, on the other hand, had been eating happily on her own… without even leaving anything for him…

She had finished the sandwich, the bacon, and the beef. The only thing left was half a glass of milk.

Blushing, Ai Bao switched her milk with his coffee.

“You shouldn’t drink coffee on an empty stomach. Have some milk.”

An Yibei smiled. “Alright.”

He drank from the glass and Ai Bao bit her lip shyly.

He drank from the exact same spot as she had just then…

Mr. An was so… Ai Bao turned to look the other way, and even her ears turned pink
