“Can I borrow the Magic Dictionary from the library?”

“So that’s the essence of letting you acquainted with mantras and magic formulas. Have you tried memorizing those formulas before?”

The power of the bribe was genuinely excellent. Behemoth, the cat, was nodding while looking at the ceiling and floor intermittently, and then, he was staring at the empty wine bottle. Afterward, the cat regained its composure.

Behemoth had no idea that Clayo was memorizing the magic textbook with the help of the ‘Memory’ function. He did it without any single phrase mistaken and prompted Behemoth to observed him with a countenance full of surprise.

“Okay, but memorizing alone doesn’t mean you know how to use magic, right?”

In the novel, there was no reference for wizards other that Jevedi, who was performing healing magics. Although healing magic was a remarkable ability, it was challenging to acquire. It was beneficial only for research and study but not useful for combat purposes because it took time to activate and quite useful only if the target was within the range of a magic circle.

The cat sighed, and it furthered, “I can’t tell whether you’re a stupid or a smart boy. Okay, we simplify the matter easily by comparing it to a gun. Just like a gun, magic also has a process of loading to launch something. So, you just need a bullet to shoot. Don’t you get it? You’re such a fool if you don’t know that!”

“Yes!!!”

The cat continued, “Then how could you make bullets? It is only through memorizing the magic formulas completely and reached a spiritual level to a point where you could instantly use a blank paper and turn it as your bullet.”

“Okay, is there anything else that I must do aside from that?”

“In the meantime, concentrating on memorizing the formulas will suffice to make you a good wizard.
