In fact, the body was pulsating non-stop, but it did not cause terrible discomfort to worry too much. So Judith just changed the topic:

– Yesterday the devil…

– He’s no longer there. And he won’t appear here,” Derrick answered with lightning speed.

The memory of the demon’s terrible and ferocious hand holding her head was so eerie that even now her body was trembling. The unpleasant incident caused endless fear and nightmare that raged like a tsunami. But the thought that now the demon was no longer around made her feel better.

Seeing Judith’s relief, the Duke said:

“He didn’t really have bad intentions.” He just has… A playful personality.

But no matter how “playful” he is, doing such a thing is unacceptable. Judith felt a clear threat to her life, so she could not come to terms with such a statement.

– I scolded him… Will this help? – Derrick was ready to bring the demon again and make him apologize to Judith directly.

Thinking back to last night, the demon remembered that he had been less than gentle with Lucas. There was a scene in his head where he grabbed the shadow and threw it at the wall. And all to save Judith. But such an attitude towards other demons, even in a similar situation, is very strange for her.

Not wanting to remember it anymore, Judith shook her head, driving away the bad thoughts. Derrick looked into her eyes as if he wanted to make sure she was okay.

– You are hungry? Last night you barely ate anything.

“I… I haven’t thought about it yet.”

– But you need to eat.

Derrick looked tenderly at her waist. His voice sounded very stern and was completely permeated with anxiety. And, oddly enough, seeing this concern, Judith really woke up an appetite. The Duchess pulled the cord, calling the maid.

After washing, she looked out the window. Outside the window there is a beautiful sunny landscape. The garden was filled with harmony and tranquility. The blooming flowers looked beautiful and even appetizing, playing with bright colors.

“I’m going to eat in the garden today,” she turned to the butler.

“Yes, Madam, I will prepare everything immediately,” he answered quickly and without delay.

Food for the couple was organized very quickly. During the tea party there were various dishes on the spacious table: lamb ribs with sauce, crushed potato croquettes and jamon baked in white wine.

The girl carefully cut the juicy meat with a knife, realizing how hungry she was. Closing her eyes, she let out a quiet moan as she put a tasty piece of rib into her mouth. Having survived it and washed it down with a few sips of wine, the girl put some potatoes on her plate, after which she turned to oranges and other fruits.

It seemed like her stomach was about to burst, but Judith couldn’t stop, feeling ravenously hungry. Usually she just drank tea while sitting in the garden, but now something strange happened. In general, with Derrick around, the Duchess was constantly changing. For example, I started getting up only at noon or eating so much food only at once.

It might have been foolish to consider such changes so significant, but it still violated the dignity of the Dukes to behave in such a manner. But Judith didn’t care. Now she didn’t care about these little things.

At the moment when the fork with the cake was already at Judith’s lips, the demon spoke:

– Can I do it too?

She smiled and put a piece into his mouth. The sweet cream melted in your mouth.

“He’s as sweet as you,” Derrick noted sharply.

Judith turned away, blushing at such remarks, although it took some getting used to. Derrick walked up to her and said:

-Can I have another piece?

But at the moment when Judith wanted to cut off another piece of cake, the demon pressed a kiss to her lips.
