The Duchess and the Devil - Chapter 47.2
– Derrick! Derrick!
Judith hurriedly tapped it with her clenched fists.
My heart was pounding wildly from fear. Now the girl did not understand what had happened – just recently she had seen Derrick running up the stairs, but did not feel him behind the door, as if no one would save her at all.
Goosebumps ran down my spine, and the silence pressed on my head.
– Ah!
Judith was caught and grabbed by the hair as she hurriedly tried her best to knock on the door.
At that moment, her body fell back and fell to the floor. Some strange force, other than physical, pressed her body to the floor. It was dark everywhere, as if this very darkness had swallowed the body. But even so, Judith could make out one thing – grotesquely glowing red eyes.
The same as Derrick’s, but ten times darker, which only made it scarier. Judith knew for sure that only demons had eyes like that.
– Oh, you must be crazy. What is this smell?
A frank voice rang out in the darkness. It was a mysterious and evil bass. which could only be compared to thorns.
Judith’s eyes gradually adapted to the darkness. However, the outline of the figure was so faint that it was impossible to determine who it was?
“And he still ate you alone?”
This something grabbed Judith by the chin, which immediately caused a tingling sensation in that place, as if someone had pressed hot metal against her face.
And the only thing the Duchess saw was ruby eyes emitting a faint light. And although no one touched Judith’s throat, it seemed that she was suffocating. Fear and fright were mixed.
– Let go! Let me go!
– Don’t you like it?
A tongue as sticky as sugar licked Judith’s neck.
The wet and slippery sensation made my heart beat even faster. When Derrick performed the same actions, it did not cause any discomfort. But now Judith wanted to cry from pain, bitterness and fear.
From time to time she heard laughter and giggles – the demon was clearly enjoying what was happening. Judith wanted to break free again, but she couldn’t move. Some inexplicable force pressed her into the floor. Despite all her efforts, the Duchess could not even move her fingers. In just a few moments, the demon took away her freedom.
All Judith could do was blink and talk.
What looked like a dog’s nose continued to wander along her neck, and at times what looked like a tongue licked the soft skin. Each touch made Judith feel disgusted and appropriately nauseated. And in her head she said only one thing:
– Derrick-Derrick-Derrick.
In a situation where she didn’t know what to do at all, the only thing she could count on was him.
“I will eat you tenderly,” Judith felt the demon’s teeth close on her neck.
She closed her eyes, but no matter how long she waited, she did not feel pain. Suddenly the body, which had been locked up for so long, found freedom.
– Evil!
A hysterical scream sounded right in front of the Duchess’s nose, like thunder. It was the cry of the demon that had been holding her back until now.
Behind the smoky figure, Judith noticed Derrick’s face. He squeezed the demon with his large hand, throwing him into the wall. Although the energy turned into smoke, the demon was still able to strike the silhouette. No longer paying attention to the heart-rending screams, Derrick approached Judith:
– Are you okay?
The Duchess trembled, unable to calm down. She saw familiar eyes and could not believe in her own salvation. Derrick hugged her tightly, picked her up and laid her on the bed, which was as cold as the darkness.
But the feeling of fear gradually faded into the background when Derrick held the Duchess in his arms, not letting go. Judith’s head turned in the direction where just a minute ago the demon was pinning her to the floor. She quietly looked into the darkness. Although it all happened so quickly, it seemed like an eternity had passed.
And what’s more, the demon seemed to know Derrick very well.
