Chapter 93 – You Don’t Like It?
Bai Qingyan frowned and reached out with a dainty hand to push her wayward husband away. The moment Gu Yezhi let her go, she glanced at her bare shoulder, only to find a red mark on her skin. She jerked furiously, angry.
“Gu Yezhi, are you crazy?!” She tried hitting him with her fists, but he was faster. He held her hand and laid his lips on it in a gentle kiss. His voice had an overbearing tone when he spoke again.
“Bai Qingyan, you are mine.”
Although she quickly removed her hand from his grip, the warmth of his touch lingered on her fingers. She risked a glance at his face and, as she expected, he looked very domineering. His eyes did not hide his desire for her.
With her cheeks redder than her dress, Bai Qingyan pointedly looked at the mark on her shoulder. “You have to change your attitude!”
Gu Yezhi stared at her blankly. “You don’t like it?” He stretched out his hand and softly touched her shoulder where he left his mark.
His nonchalant attitude made Bai Qingyan bite her lip and command again. “Change your attitude!” He deliberately ignored her words and embraced her, making her flustered. “Ei… Don’t…”
Gu Yezhi was careful to leave a deep kiss mark on her jade-white neck as if trying to carve his ownership on her skin.
Bai Qingyan was furious. She stared at her husband’s domineering face for a moment, then quickly brushed her hair to cover up the mark. She turned around and left him behind without another glance.
Unbeknownst to her, Gu Yezhi watched her run away from him with a smile on his lips.
“Bai Qingyan, you belong to me! Always!”
His face returned to its usual indifferent expression and he quickly followed after Bai Qingyan. When he arrived at the garden, she was happily running around, making her skirt swing.
Under the night sky, Bai Qingyan’s hair hung down like a black waterfall, reflecting the neon lights spread around the garden. She mischievously held rose petals and sprinkled them toward the sky, running after them as they fell.
Gu Yezhi didn’t want to disturb such a beautiful picture but he thought it would be even better if it included him. His Yan Yan was truly too beautiful.
He approached her slowly and guided her into his embrace. His head rested on her shoulders as he gazed at the kiss mark he left on her skin. His eyes narrowed in pleasure, even though his face showed no expression.
Bai Qingyan found herself suddenly captured again and she screamed in protest. “Ah! Gu Yezhi, let go! Don’t hold me!”
“Still angry, huh?” Gu Yezhi turned his head and placed a kiss on her slender neck. He wondered why she was so mad. She was his wife. It was his right to kiss her, hold her and sleep with her.
His hot breath on her neck was making her skin itch. Bai Qingyan tried breaking off his hold on her, but Gu Yezhi’s arm didn’t move. She pinched it angrily. “Let go!”
Unfortunately, compared to him her strength was so small Gu Yezhi thought she was tickling him. It was only after he had kissed her neck that he noticed she was furious. He quickly let her go and guided his wife to sit on a nearby chair.
The air of the garden was a combination of the scent of flowers, grass and the food being served. The mixture of scents was very pleasant.
Dinner was a spread of both Chinese and western food. In front of them were steaks and wine alongside Bai Qingyan’s favorite chicken wings, dry pot ribs, and several green vegetables.
Her diet was very unbalanced since Bai Qingyan loved meat and avoided vegetables as much as she could.
The moment she spotted the chicken wings, Bai Qingyan completely forgot that she was angry with her husband. She took one and bit it, savoring the taste before turning to Gu Yezhi. “It’s delicious!”
Meanwhile, Gu Yezhi stared at her silly appearance silently and narrowed his eyes. Only he and Bai Jian knew she ever looked like this. And Bai Qingyan knew this.
She was smart. She knew very well that only in front of the person she loved could she behave so freely, do whatever she wanted and expose her vulnerabilities. Gu Yezhi and Bai Jian were the only people she loved, so she didn’t hide from them.
