“Gu Yezhi, come, come! Hurry up!” Ji Sijie hurried him, reaching out to touch the bomb strapped to her waist. The thought of how Bai Qingyan and Gu Yezhi would die with her gave Ji Sijie a thrill.

Her eyes shone with her madness. She kept trying to bring that man closer. It would be so great if she could kiss him before she died.

While delusions fluttered through Ji Sijie’s mind, Gu Yezhi stared at the two women. He appeared even colder than usual, but in the inside, he was very worried.

At that moment, Gu Yezhi’s gaze fell on Ji Sijie’s forehead. It was the only place on her body that had no traces of gasoline.

If he could shoot her forehead and kill the bitch, Yan Yan would be saved.

He glanced at Xue Yan, who immediately threw him a pistol. He didn’t give the other woman time to wonder what he was about to do. With a quick snap of the wrist, Gu Yezhi aimed the gun at Ji Sijie’s forehead and fired it.

The bullet traveled in a perfect line, hitting the middle of her forehead. Blood slowly came out of the small hole as Ji Sijie fell backward. Her face was frozen in a shocked expression.

The hole in her head leaked blood all over her face as her body convulsed on the ground. It almost looked as if she was refusing to die. Eventually, the convulsions stopped and she finally died.

The moment Ji Sijie fell, she had dragged Bai Qingyan with her. Thus, while the other woman was on her death throes, Gu Yezhi strode over and pulled his wife to the safety of his arms.

“Yan Yan, are you okay?”

But Bai Qingyan was still in shock, unable to process that the danger was already gone. She twisted herself in his embrace and hit his chest with her fists. “Gu Yezhi, go away! You can’t save me!”

All she cared about was that he didn’t die. She couldn’t bear seeing him fall in front of her again. If he died what should she do?

What was the point of her being alive if he was gone?

When she saw him coming closer, her heart almost burst out of her chest from anxiety. She deserved to die and pay for all the bad things she had done in her last life, but not him! He wasn’t allowed to die!

Angry that he wouldn’t retreat to a safe distance, Bai Qingyan viciously bit on Gu Yezhi’s arm to relieve some of her frustration. “Woohoo…”
