Chapter 160: The Way To Cure Him (1) 

Bai Qingyan stared at him, somewhat puzzled, lips tightly shut. Gu Yezhi remained silent and dragged her back inside the house. The atmosphere around him was cold, so he was obviously still angry. 

She couldn’t help but wonder if Gu Yezhi had heard her talking to Gu Hang. Was that why he was angry? But it shouldn’t be! 

They had been married for a bit more than a month, but it could be regarded as a lifetime. Bai Qingyan hadn’t helped Gu Hang in anything, therefore Gu Yezhi had no reason to hate him. 

Could it be that Gu Yezhi knew that she liked Gu Hang? Was he angry because he saw Gu Hang’s name on the caller ID? 

So before, when he came out of the bathroom and saw her holding the things Gu Hang gave her, did he get angry and threw them in the garbage in anger? 

It turned out that he had misunderstood! Should she tell him that she didn’t love Gu Hang?

Forget it, it was better to stay quiet. She would show Gu Yezhi, bit by bit, how much she loved him. 

Once she reached that resolution, a stone finally fell from Bai Qingyan’s heart. She now understood why Gu Yezhi was switching from being warm and being cold to her. 

It turned out that he thought she loved his nephew. 

He was such a proud man, it was already good enough that he didn’t catch Bai Qingyan and beat her black and blue.

Thinking about it some more, she figured Gu Yezhi had arranged for someone to spy on her. 

While Bai Qingyan was busy with her thoughts, Gu Yezhi carried her back to their room, face as cold as usual. Setting her down on the sofa, he headed to the closet and pulled out a black long sleeved shirt with matching pants. 

Bai Qingyan was still immersed in her thoughts, not noticing how her husband stood in front of her, staring her down with a condescending look.
 

Her black hair was scattered over her shoulders and her lips were enticing red, drawing Gu Yezhi’s gaze toward them. He wanted to press kisses all over her. 

Gu Yezhi was irritated. He didn’t want his wife to meet any investors. He threw the clothes on top of Bai Qingyan and spoke only one word, but it was filled with ice. “Change.” 

“Ah? Oh.” Brought out of her musings by the sudden weight on her body, Bai Qingyan looked at the clothes over her legs and stood up. She had planned to go to the bathroom to change; however, two steps later, a thought crossed her mind. 

Looking up at her husband’s cold face, Bai Qingyan smiled, then turned around where she stood and started unzipping her skirt. 

That white back, as smooth as a piece of jade, ensnared Gu Yezhi’s attention. He suddenly felt his mouth dry up as if he hadn’t drank anything in days. Slowly, he brought up his hand and undid the first button of his shirt. 

The more skin Vai Qingyan exposed, the more his breathing sped up. Finally, when Bai Qingyan was done redressing and displaying her charms, she felt someone standing behind her. Then she heard the rough voice of the man she loved. “Are you intentionally trying to seduce me?”
