Meanwhile, Zou Si on the other side was stunned. When Lin Shaosi took out his machete, she almost rushed in to disarm him. But what she just witnessed was completely beyond her expectations.

After pinching Lin Shaosi, Gu Yuanyuan said, “Xiao Si, why did you doubt what I said, if you don’t believe me, you can call your second brother for confirmation.”

Lin Shaosi hesitated to call his second brother with Zou Si nearby.

As soon as Zou Si left the room, Lin Shaosi immediately dialed Gu Yizhou’s number.

Gu Yaunyuan nestled herself on the sofa so as to not disturb Lin Shaosi.

10 minutes later, Lin Shaosi hung up the call and stared at Gu Yaunyaun contemplatively without saying a word.

Gu Yuanyuan didn’t know what Gu Yizhou told him on the phone. But what she was sure of was that he wouldn’t have revealed her identity, because they had already talked about this matter. They had decided to wait till Lin Shaosi was done shooting his film “The Survival” before telling him the truth.

Gu Yuanyuan felt what Jiang Yun and Gu Yizhou talked about was right and good for Lin Shaosi’s future, so she accepted their proposal.

Gu Yizhou didn’t have much time as he was going to a meeting, he didn’t explain much to Lin Shaosi, he briefly told him about the events which transpired in the past three days. In short, talking about how Gu Yizhou went to the Shu family banquet and met Gu Yuanyuan there and coincidentally found their big brother too.

While informing him about all this, Gu Yizhou didn’t say a word related to Gu Yaunyuan’s identity as their mother. Additionally, Gu Yizhou cleverly confused his younger brother, the reason why Jiang Yun and he took special care of Gu Yaunyuan, all because she helped them in finding each other as a mother.

After conversing with Gu Yizhou, Lin Shaosi had no doubts anymore, he clearly believed that his elder brother had been found. Zuo Si was sent by elder brother to take care of Gu Yuanyuan. The past two nights Gu Yuanyuan had been staying with them.
