Chapter 33: She’s Different, I Like Her. (3) 

Gu Yizhou was going to meet the director, but in this situation, he naturally didn’t feel comfortable making Gu Yuanyuan wait in the office, and after Qian Xian had eaten and drunk his fill, he tactfully stated that he had something to do and needed the other party to leave. He even offered a little financial compensation. 

After the treat and some money for compensation, if the other party wasn’t satisfied, they should consider tinkering his head. However, what Qian Xian said next surprised both mother and son at the same time.  

He looked at Gu Yuanyuan and said, “I don’t want money, just mind me eating and drinking, I can always protect you.” Having said so, he paused before adding. “It has to have meat.”  

“She doesn’t need a bodyguard,” Gu Yizhou said indifferently. 

Even if she needed one, she wouldn’t hire a teenager – isn’t that hiring child for labor! 

“She needs it.” Qian Xian seriously said, “I don’t want a salary, I just need to be provided food, it’s a good deal.” 

Gu Yizhou sort of understood that this young man in front of him wanted to rely on Gu Yuanyuan.

Gu Yuanyuan’s pupils shrank, the boy’s last words were still reverberating through the office when his person appeared behind Gu Yizhou, his one hand on the doctor’s shoulder. 

If he had a weapon in his hand, it would have been resting on Gu Yizhou’s neck at this moment. 

At the start, the boy was at least a good three meters away from Gu Yizhou. Yet, in the blink of an eye, he was already behind the surgeon as if he had teleported. Such was the speed that even the ace Lin Shaosi wouldn’t be able to pull  it off. 

Even so, there was no fear on Gu Yizhou’s face, just a scowl.

Gu Yizhou and Jiang Yun had already made plans. Jiang Yun was to look for an assistant who could not only help Gu Yuanyuan with her chores but also protect her in times of danger. The condition was it had to be female, otherwise, it would be inconvenient. But they hadn’t shared this with their mother yet.

Gu Yizhou asked again, “If you’re so good, and want to be a bodyguard and have something to eat, why don’t you go find someone rich? Or get some work to earn money?”

Qian Xian honestly said, “Those people are annoying, I don’t like them.” He pointed to Gu Yuanyuan, “She’s different, I like her and want to follow her.” 

“No money, just food is enough,” That’s the third time he said about being satiated.

Gu Yizhou’s face turned dark. Just for the words “I like her”, he absolutely would not let Qian Xian work as her bodyguard.
