The three soldiers immediately got down on one knee. They were much taller than Youyou, yet these hulking mercenaries actually lowered themselves to kneel before a child.

The leader said in a quiet voice, “Sorry, Sir! We’re late!”

Their appearance alone brought some order to the chaotic scene.
