Chapter 93 – Major Benefactor

Lin Qingwei looked towards the entrance of the small courtyard, “Why aren’t Senior Brother and the rest back yet?”

“Qingwei, how about you go and call them back? The meal is turning cold, we need to eat it soon.” Another doctor said.

“Okay.” Lin Qingwei went back to his room and took his coat and flashlight. Just as he was about to go out and look for them, he saw a streak of light slowly approaching them, “Hey, that’s Senior Brother!”

As the silhouette approached him, Lin Qingwei’s expression became more and more exaggerated.

“What are you doing? What kind of expression is that?”

Lin Qingwei lowered his voice and said, “Am I hallucinating? Is that my Senior Brother carrying someone on his back?”

The colleagues in the room broke into chaos. All of them ran towards the entrance to take a look.

The light from the flashlight was close. Under the soft glow of the lights from the room, everyone saw with their own eyes the usually cold and indifferent Dr. Zhou stop at the entrance with a woman on his back. They all didn’t dare to blink, for fear of missing even a single second of this unusual scene.

Zhou Shiyun turned a blind eye to everyone’s appalled gaze. He put down Su Jinbei and whispered, “Put your shoes on.”

Su Jinbei nodded and obediently slipped into her shoes. Shoes properly fitted into her feet, she raised her eyes and looked at the crowd of people basically eating popcorn, “Wow, are you all standing at the door to welcome us? How polite.”

The group of people reacted quickly and shouted, “Ah, yes, yes. We’re all waiting for you. The food has been prepared.”

Su Jinbei stepped forward, “Thank you. Right on time, I’m hungry.”

They parted and made way for them to walk into the house. Watching the two people’s silhouettes closely, they exchanged glances and communicated with their eyes.

Some nurse: That’s Dr. Zhou, right?

“Yeah, surname Liu. Liu Tingting.”

“Ah. I heard you’re a teacher.”

“Yeah, I’ve been teaching for more than two years now.” Liu Tingting poured her a cup of water. “Um, I can walk you to Dr. Zhou’s place after you’re done with breakfast.”

“I have nothing to do today. I took the day off from work to accompany you since you’re new here.”

Su Jinbei dressed and put on some light makeup before eating breakfast. After breakfast, Liu Tingting took her out and showed her around, even going as far to properly introduce her about the place.
