Guide the Villain Father to Be Virtuous - Chapter 51
Chapter 51: Smile Like A Loving Father (2)
“Grandfather……”
Mr. Huo hugged Huo Xiaoxiao, who had rushed into his arms. “What’s wrong, Xiaoxiao? Do you think your dad has a point?”
Huo Xiaoxiao shook her head.
When Old Master Huo saw her shake her head, he hesitated.
Huo Suicheng calmly said, “It’s normal for children to be playful; otherwise, what are the adults for? Isn’t it to supervise them?”
Old Master Huo slowly nodded, but he was still hesitating.
“Grandpa!” Huo Xiaoxiao grabbed her grandfather’s sleeve.
Old Master Huo’s eyes were helpless, and he stopped talking.
Huo Suicheng had a well-thought-out plan. “Force her now. She will thank us when she grows up.”
Old Master Huo looked at Xiaoxiao’s little eyes and averted his gaze.
Huo Xiaoxiao’s little heart skipped a beat.
Not good.
Her grandfather was going to betray her.
Sure enough…
“Your words make sense. Invite a few teachers home, have them look at Xiaoxaio’s foundation, then cultivate and observe.”
“…” Huo Xiaoxiao was numb. She looked at Huo Suicheng with hatred in her eyes.
Huo Suicheng smiled at her like a loving father.

At night, Huo Xiaoxiao lay in her bed, tossing and turning, unable to sleep.
The more she thought about it, the more she felt that she had lost.
Sure enough, her father was a shrewd and deep schemer, refusing to suffer any kind of loss. Even against her own daughter, his own blood, he had to try his best to get back at her.
This incident began to occupy her brain. It would come back to bite her in the ass, as this would later determine her position at home.
Huo Xiaoxiao sighed.
If she knew that her father would be so arrogant, she would not have provoked him. Now that the decision had been passed, she had no room to fight back.
Also, what was the difference between a child and a big villain? The age, for one, and her identity and experience for second. Why was she fighting with others? A few words were all it took for her father to turn her patron, Old Master Huo, against her.
This was no ordinary person.
He could not be taken lightly.
For Huo Xiaoxiao, in order to have a better life than a salted fish in the future, she felt that she had to do something.
————
The night was getting darker, but Huo Suicheng’s room’s lights were still on.
The development of Luming Mountain, such a large project, could not be disregarded. He took the unfinished business home to deal with it.
The night was quiet and so was the entire Huo Manor. Even if a needle was dropped, it would loudly echo around the manor.
There was a rustling sound at the door.
Huo Suicheng raised his eyebrows, put down the file in his hand, and looked at the door.
Even though the door lock was relatively heavy, anyone could easily open it—anyone but children. They would have to use all their strength to open the door.
The door lock was pushed down, but the door did not open.
The child outside the door persevered in her endeavor, though. With all her strength, she finally opened the door.
The door opened by a slit, and a ray of light spilled outside.
Huo Suicheng saw a little head poke around in panic.
Just when he thought the child wanted to come to sleep with him, she raised a small white towel wrapped around a stick.
‘Where did she even find those,’ he thought.
She then crept in through the door.
Perhaps it was too heavy for the child to hold, but the stick was visibly trembling.
Huo Suicheng didn’t respond to her for a while. What was she doing?
Seeing Huo Xiaoxiao trembling while lifting the stick and waving it in the air a few times, the white flag fluttering, he suddenly realized.
Raising the white flag.
It was a sign of surrender.
“…”
Hiding behind the desk, Huo Suicheng shook with laughter.
Outside the door, Huo Xiaoxiao was stepping on a small stool while holding the white flag, sweating and panting with exhaustion. She gasped, holding the white flag and waving it several times. Yet, she didn’t hear any movement in the room.
If it were not for her despair, who would endure such humiliation?
