“Su Gongcheng knew that we contacted Qiao City.” Kane said.

He Yu’s face was covered in shadows but the contours of it were very clear. There was a deep look in his eyes as he thought for a moment. Then, he asked Kane some questions and made some plans. Regarding his inquiries, Kane answered them one by one.

Before hanging up the phone, He Yu said, “Buy me a tablet and make sure that the screen is capable of eye protection.”

Kane replied, “What color do you want?”

He Yu did not answer, saying instead, “Wait until I ask her.”

He Yu thought about various things as he walked to the bedroom. He slightly raised his head and unbuttoned the first two buttons of his shirt, revealing half of his collarbone. When he reached the door of the bedroom, he pushed the door in.

Only the bedside lamp was turned on in the room, the orange light illuminating the corner of the bed. The woman was lying on her side, her head resting on her arm as she watched her mobile phone, brushing up on the exam questions. Seeing He Yu enter, she glanced at him sideways, showing him a pair of shining eyes.

He Yu glanced at her cell phone. He went over and sat down by her bed. When he sat down, she smelled the sweet fragrance again and couldn’t help but feel calmer. Su Quizi froze for a moment. She glanced at the phone next to her pillow. She had been using this phone for 2 years. Although it was a bit slow, it could still be used. She did not want to waste money on a new one.

He Yu sighed and said, “Use the money I gave you.”

Su Qiuzi: “Then I will buy a new one tomorrow.”

When it came to this, Su Qiuzi couldn’t see what He Yu was thinking, but her tension had dissipated.The money that He Yu gave her, she had only been spending on family expenses.
