Chapter 77: Because I Want To Kiss You (4)

Su Qiuzi had read many novels, and the description would include a line of lights over the main character’s face, giving him a kind of tenderness. And this sentence didn’t fit He Yu. He Yu didn’t need the light, he was much gentler without it. 

Seeing He Yu come over, Su Qiuzi hesitated and asked carefully, “Is your grandfather alright?” 

“Yeah.” He Yu responded faintly, watching her shrink into her coat and dropping his eyes to ask her, “Why are you standing out here freezing?” 

Su Qiuzi’s body had started to warm up and she stood on the road’s edge, still shorter than the man. She looked up at him, her eyes clean and clear behind her funny pink pig mask. 

“I have nowhere to go.” The girl whispered. 

She was already married and she shouldn’t be going back to the Su Family house. She was about to get a divorce, so she couldn’t go to the Ran Feng mansion. 

He Yu quietly looked at her, and in the next second, he raised his hand and took off the girl’s mask. With the mask off, the girl’s beautiful white cheeks were revealed. Her freezing nose was a little red, and her eyes were also red as if she was crying. After he took off the mask, the girl pouted with some dissatisfaction, “Why are you taking off my mask?” 

Her eyes gleamed, glowing in the darkness. He Yu’s throat moved and he raised his hand to cup her chin. The girl’s skin was cold, her skin soft and delicate to the touch of his fingers. After she asked the question, his eyebrows softened. He smiled faintly and whispered, “Because I want to kiss you.” 

Su Qiuzi’s eyelashes trembled, and in the next second, she welcomed his kiss.
 

His kisses melted her heart little by little. This kiss was so gentle, so gentle that it was unrelenting. 

Being dazed and lost in a trance, Su Qiuzi sank into his tenderness. She gently closed her eyes, the hard shell of self-soothing crumbled and her heart was completely empty. She knew that she might never feel such tenderness again. 

He Yu’s kiss ended, and Su Qiuzi was cradled in his arms. She was attached to his embrace because just with him, he had given enough warmth and security for her.

“I know what’s going on with me marrying you, and I know I’m not welcomed. But whether it’s being used by you or disliked by your grandfather, it doesn’t matter. I’m thankful that I’ve spent most of my time with you since we’re married. I’m especially happy when I’m with you.” 

Su Qiuzi got up from his arms. Done with her speech, and to make herself appear stronger, she even smiled at He Yu. As soon as she smiled, the man lowered his head and kissed her ear. 

Sudden kisses often made people even more emotional. Su Qiuzi’s eyes widened slightly and she looked at He Yu. The man’s eyebrows were soft as he smiled gently at her. 

“Do you want to be happy all the time?” He asked. 

Su Qiuzi’s heartbeat accelerated slightly as she stared intently at He Yu, her brown colored eyes containing some sorrow that even she didn’t notice. 

“I… Aren’t we getting a divorce?” She raised her eyes to look at him, her mouth shallowly closed. 

He Yu’s heart felt like it was being stabbed by something. 

He looked at her for a long moment before softly smiling and holding her tightly in his arms. He Yu kissed her in the crown of her hair, his voice spread in the night, deep and lovely to hear. 

“No, we’re not getting divorced. We can stay married forever if you want.”
