Chapter 66: I Came To Find My Husband (3) 

“Just the two of us.” He Yu replied. 

The road was crowded with cars and Su Qiuzi’s eyes flickered. If it was just the two of them, was it a date? It was the first time the couple had ever dated. 

Since He Yu mentioned it, Su Qiuzi naturally could not refuse. She quickly agreed, then He Yu asked where she was to send a car to pick her up. 

“Are we skiing tonight?” Su Qiuzi hadn’t skied before, but it wasn’t a very safe sport, so it probably wouldn’t be very good at night. 

“We’ll ski tomorrow.” He Yu faintly stated. He was silent for a moment and let out a low laugh, “As for tonight, we can do something else first.” 

“Do what?” Su Qiuzi snapped out of her mouth. On the other end of the phone, the man just laughed softly. 

His laughter was deep and pleasant, like a gentle whisper in her ear in the long dark night. Su Qiuzi consciously returned to her senses. Thinking about He Yu’s last words, her eyelashes blinked, and her face gradually became hot and burning.
 

What might a husband and wife do during a long night? 

He Yu just appeared to be gentle, but in private he was not like that at all. She was often unable to get up from the bed after being eaten by him. Thinking about it, Su Qiuzi reminded, “Then… Then there’s still skiing tomorrow, you still need to be more restrained tonight.” 

“What?” He Yu seemed to be puzzled, and after a long pause, he laughed heartily. 

Hanging up the phone amidst the man’s laughter, Su Qiuzi’s ears perked up. She shouldn’t have misunderstood what he meant, right? 

Su Qiuzi waited for a moment at the subway entrance before a black Mercedes car pulled up beside her. He Yu’s assistant, Kane, stepped out of the car and opened the door, as he politely said, “Ma’am, please.” 

Su Qiuzi said her thanks and got into the car. 

It was only six in the afternoon when she was picked up by Kane, and by the time she reached Qi Mountain, it was well past seven. He Yu was just finishing the meeting and was having dinner in the Clubhouse restaurant.
 

The style of Qi Mountain Business Club was the classical Wei-Jin style, elegant yet casual. Su Qiuzi followed Kane through the corridor to the clubhouse’s restaurant. 

The clubhouse dining room was buffet-style. After the meeting, there were a few people in suits eating and having small conversations, with the occasional slight sound of knives and forks touching plates. 

Kane escorted her to the door and didn’t follow her in, but simply said to her, ” President He is in the innermost position against the window.” 

Su Qiuzi glanced over toward the booth of cards blocking her view and after saying thank you, she made her way towards the position against the window. 

When she entered the restaurant and the cover of the booth disappeared, she first saw He Yu’s back. When the man opposite He Yu looked up, she subconsciously locked eyes with him. 

Su Qiuzi froze on the spot. 

Xu Zhi was talking to He Yu and when he looked up, he saw this woman standing not far away. She looked beautiful, with a fair complexion and exceptionally clear brown eyes. At the moment, she was looking at him with excitement. 

Xu Zhi was a very friendly celebrity and he was a frequent trendsetter on Weibo. Even though he was eating this time, seeing the woman’s nervous and agitated look, he smiled and said, “Did you come to me for an autograph?” 

Hearing him taking the initiative to talk, her eyes lit up in an instant. But then she looked at He Yu, who was opposite him, and said somewhat incoherently, “No, no, no, I’m here for my husband.” 

As she spoke, He Yu, who was opposite, let out a shallow laugh. 

Xu Zhi glanced at He Yu, also smiled, took the paper and pencil on the dinner table, smiled, and said, ” Girls nowadays, when chasing stars they like to call them their husbands.” 

When he finished, He Yu looked up at him, took the napkin and slowly wiped the corner of his mouth, laughing, “No, she came to me. I’m her husband.”
