“What show do you want to host?” Miao Hualing asked.

Su Qiuzi had already been asked that several times, but she didn’t answer it immediately. Last week Cao Tingping gave her two program files; one was a financial interview, while the other was a legal documentary. Zhu Meng advised her to choose the financial interview.

Su Qiuzi asked for Miao Hualing’s opinion, but instead of helping her choose, she asked, “What about you? Which one do you prefer?”

Having already chosen what she wanted in her mind, Su Qiuzi said, “Actually, I want to choose the legal documentary. In the future, I want to make a documentary show.”

He Yu had to work the whole afternoon, so he arrived a bit late. After Su Qiuzi helped Miao Hualing prepare the lunch materials, she was taken to the piano room by Lian Junyin.

Su Qiuzi was very beautiful, even more beautiful than the piano teacher she was studying under. Lian Junyin looked at her smile and sincerely praised her, “Sister-in-law, you are so beautiful.”

“Yeah.” He Yu’s lips twitched and he responded with a smile of his own. The young woman was sitting on the piano bench with both hands on her sides. Her long hair fell in soft waves over her back, her body was slender, and her neck was slim, with a temperament like a piano.

She tried to get up, but He Yu stopped her. He walked over and sat beside her, asking, “Can you play?”

She briefly noticed that his cufflinks were also unbuttoned as he rolled up his sleeves, revealing his smooth and slender wrists. He placed his large hands over the black and white keys.

“I can only play Alice.” Su Qiuzi embarrassedly admitted. She had never studied the piano, even though she liked it very much. When Su Ai took piano lessons in their childhood, she envied her greatly. Su Qiuzi learned Alice from her music teacher in high school. She hadn’t played for so many years, she had probably forgotten how to play already.

“Want to play a song together?” He Yu asked her with a smile, placing his right hand on the keyboard.

This proposal excited Su Qiuzi, but she hesitated for a moment and admitted, “I can’t play well.”

“I’ll assist you.” He Yu said with a smile.

His gentleness was soothing. Su Qiuzi’s eyes flashed with surprise. He Yu knew how to play the piano, so it shouldn’t be too bad to learn with him. Su Qiuzi happily agreed, and the two played together, her on the left side while He Yu played the right side.

It had been so long since she last played that it was no surprise that Su Qiuzi had forgotten how to play. She made several mistakes, and each time she would glance at He Yu with an embarrassed expression. But her husband would just quietly meet her gaze, dark eyes filled with gentleness, and slow down, quietly waiting for her.

The sounds coming from the piano were deep and beautiful. Soon, a series of notes slowly flowed out from under the keys like a melting light shining into the bottom of people’s hearts, making anyone who heard the music feel warm.

As Su Qiuzi pressed the last key, He Yu’s slender fingers pressed on a key and his eyebrows slightly softened. His face was covered with a soft light and underneath his thick black eyelashes, a pair of ink-colored eyes were as deep as a pool. His temperament was elegant and gentle, like a natural nobleman.

As He Yu pressed the last key, the sound if the piano faded gradually until the piano room was quiet again, with only the couple’s soft breathing and rushing heartbeats resounding in their ears.

He Yu looked at his wife with a smile, a gentle look on his face. “I missed you so much today.”
