“How was your practice?” He Yu asked.

The elevator went up with only the husband and wife inside. Su Qiuzi’s eyes became sad as she thought about her class, and she replied, “Not very good. I practiced for a day today, and the coach was almost mad at me. I will take the second test next week, but I feel I can’t pass the exam.”

Before, she worried that she wouldn’t finish her classes in time for the second test, which would make it difficult for her to get the certificate. As a result, she completed the class hours, but she failed to practice her driving properly.

Su Qiuzi watched as He Yu pressed the button for the first floor. She stared at the lit button for a moment before asking, “Are you still going to work?”

He Yu shook his head, smiled, and said, “If you don’t want me to work, then I will accompany you to practice driving.”

He didn’t say it casually. After arriving at their floor, he did not leave the elevator but pressed the close button. The elevator descended to the first floor and reached the garage. He Yu asked Su Qiuzi to pick a car that she thought was suitable. He had a lot of cars, most of them black colored. She didn’t have to guess how much they cost. Just by looking at the cars’ labels, she knew that they were expensive.

Su Qiuzi was frightened, not wanting to damage any of those cars, so He Yu suggested that she should practice at the driving school. He smiled faintly, saying it was okay. In the end, Su Qiuzi bit her lip and picked a car with a label she thought was the cheapest.

He Yu didn’t drink during the banquet in the afternoon, so he drove Su Qiuzi to the South Gymnasium, a 15-minute drive from Ran Feng Mansion.

The stadium was very open, with a large open space in front of it for parking. Because the Southern District was a new district, only a few people came to play outside the stadium. Once they arrived, He Yu got out of the car and let Su Qiuzi go to the driver’s seat.

She didn’t need to be scared. Su Qiuzi knew that someone would also accompany her to practice. He Yu was gentle-tempered. Even if she drove on the wrong lane, he wouldn’t be as fierce as the coach.

This car was more complicated than driving the school’s car. He Yu sat in the passenger seat and briefly introduced her to the car’s things and reminded her not to care about other functions of the car, just use the interior parts needed for driving. And that was it.

Su Qiuzi was startled by the sound of the car hitting something, but He Yu’s expression remained the same. After checking if she was alright, he opened the door and got out of the car.

Su Qiuzi quickly got out of the car as well.

The sun was about to set, and the sunset glowed all over the sky, covering the sky and the earth with a layer of red. He Yu was wearing a white shirt and suit pants, looking tall and slender. His shirt cuffs were rolled up, revealing a smooth, slender wrist. He also had opened two buttons on his neckline, displaying his slender neck and his Adam’s apple that rolled slightly in the sun.

There was no problem with the car. After confirming that the flower bed was okay, He Yu let Su Qiuzi get in the car, but she was spooked from the collision and didn’t dare touch the steering wheel again. He Yu smiled and tried to encourage her, even though she said he would be upset. After much coaxing, she continued driving.
